I bought this for my 3 year old son and he loved it! It comes in a box which contains the pieces of the scooter and instructions. The scooter actually grows with your child and is suitable up until the age of 5 which makes it even more of a great choice financially. Once together, you can also flatten the scooter, making it excellent to take in the car to the park or on staycation just as we have! The instructions were very easy to follow and the pieces went together easily and securely. The scooter is well made, sturdy and colourful with a little bug face on the front which is very inviting to children to encourage play and physical exercise. My son needed no support at all with riding it or turning it. Overall my son has not stopped playing with it since the day we bought it, my only regret is that I didn't buy one sooner! At £31.99 (at time of review), this is a little expensive, but there are 3 heights to extend it to so it will last a few years! There are a lot of ride on style bikes for toddlers on Amazon but this one would make a reasonably priced Christmas gift!

it's only just arrived, just opened box, and was pleasantly surprised with the initial weight and quality of the bike, build quality looks very well made and solid, nothing flimsy, the wheels are made of High quality plastic pu rubber tyres.. and proper steel bearings giving a quality feel, It all locks together nice and solidly, And folds away very compact👍🏻 well worth the price so far so good

For the price, I wasn't expecting much - we bought this for our toddler so that we could take it on holiday (instead of a pushchair) and I was really not expecting much from it, especially for the price - but its amazing! Even better, our son LOVES it! It comes already assembled apart from the handles so 2 quick clicks and its ready to go. Folding and unfolding is easy-peasy but it cannot be done by accident or whilst your child is riding it. If you take the handles off (easily done) it can fit in a carry-on size suitcase although it takes up most of the case. You can buy an unbranded carrying strap for about 2 pounds too so you can just wear it over your shoulder (it weighs very little to carry) We chose this version over the original/smaller version as our son is pretty tall for his age (96cm/2years old) and we were worried the other one would be too small - we made the right decision, this fits him perfectly with some room for growth. He has loved it from the second he saw it and whizzes round on it at top speeds. Overall I'm really happy with the purchase and cannot fault the thing. Very happy and shocked at the quality of this trike!

Well, nothing wrong with scuttlebug, my son loves it, BUT… even though it’s XL my son is 2.6 years old, but quite tall he is 98cm and the bug is too small for him :( I bought it because I saw reviews of other kids age 3-4 using it.

Great for the kids (I purchased two), both my kids loved the original so when I see the XL version I had to get it. The kids get so much fun from them it was worth every penny. The XL version is very similar to assemble as the original, very intuitive but if you are have trouble the instructions are very easy to follow. The XL version only comes in one design (from what I’ve seen), the main difference is it has a number of adjustable settings to make it bigger. When folded down it is very compact and great for popping into the car to take it to the park or just to pack away when it’s not being used.

One of the best ride ons! Better quality and bigger wheels than the "original" scuttlebug, both my 18 months old and 3.5 years old enjoy riding it and had to buy two. Very stable and hard to fall from for young toddlers

All 3 of my kiddos now have one because they all just loved it! the scooter is easy to assemble and is easy for the kids to ride around on from all ages varying from 18m - 7 years old. The scooters are smooth to steer and handle bumps and different indoor terrains perfectly. I really love the adjustable height as the grow and they collapse for easy storage or on the go. 5/5 this is a must have for littles if you've got the space.

We had the little red scooter but our grandson had grown out of it so purchased this one. I love that we can adjust it as he grows. He can scoot around really fast on it and I think he is loving it. He rides it inside at the moment , it’s very quiet and unobtrusive so we love it too.
