I was a bit sceptical whether this would solve our problem or not. Here's the problem...For our meetings we plug into a schools system with a 10m HDMI cable. from the wall the cable then goes about 12m to the overhead projector. The overal length resulted in a broken up picture with Also in PowerPoint presenter mode - it came up with an out of sync error message. With the repeater plugged in to the end of our 10m cable and a short cable to the wall socket it worked properly and with vastly improved picture and no out of sync message. Well worth the cost and it worked better than expected. One caveat the Chinglish instructions give conflicting information whether to use the power input. In our case the power IS needed. Without it it wouldn't work. However although the unit comes with a USB-round plug cable it does NOT come with a USB power adaptor, so you will need to remember to buy one or see if you have a spare one to use. Now we can run PowerPoint in correct presenter mode and with a good clear picture so a well deserved 5 stars. Its a compact but solidly made unit (metal Case) and comes with a mounting bracket if this is needed.

Had intermittent display problems on my home cameras. After research I realised that the HDMI cable I was using was too long for the signal to reliably transmit. Connected this unit into the system & problem was instantly resolved

Good unit, will require external power source to operate on distances over 8m (mine did) sadly this unit dosnt support ARC (Audi Return Channel) It would have a full 5 stars if it did. I have a Panasonic 58DX902 televsion and Pioneer SCLX89 receiver amp, and i couldnt get it to work. If ARC is not an issue for you, then this is well worth a purchase.

Connecting my PC with a GTX 1060 video card to my TV in another room, running at 4K 60Hz, there was a constant flicker every second or so when using a 7.5m 2.0 HDMI cable, which was obviously due to signal loss. I'd never needed to use a repeater before so I was slightly worried if this would do the job, but it works flawlessly. The cable goes into this unit, and I've got another 1.5m cable as the output to the TV. Perfect picture, perfect 5.1 sound, 4K/60 at 32-bit, no worries. Initially I also used the included power cable (which is a DC pin to USB, so you'll need to plug it into a powered USB port rather than a mains socket) in case power loss was an issue - but the repeater works absolutely fine without it for me. Possibly you might need it if you're connecting two 7.5m cables via the repeater, but in any case it's good to have the option. TL;DR: works fine!

I tried to use one of these to extend the HDMI output of a Toshiba HD-DVD player over a 10m cable. Did not work. It passes the HDMI signal through, but I don't think it amplifies the signal at all and the picture was flashing on and off. I wouldn't be surprised if it's an empty box with just a cable passing the HDMI signal through! I ended up buying a quality HDMI switch instead which worked perfectly.

I had issues with my Sky mini box. From Sky mini box to a projector using a 15 metres HDMI cable. The picture kept cutting out, lines, pixelated screen. Was not happy. Even a Sky engineer came out and said I had to reduce cable size. Researched this device. Absolutely brilliant. No issues now. No lines, no missing picture, all good

All HDMI transmitting devices having failed me, due to our house construction I think - we had to go to cable. This does exactly as described. Nice quality manufacture. We now have a clear HDMI signal from our box in the living room via a splitter and a15M cable to the kitchen using x2 these inline boosters. Very pleased.

Used with a 10m HDMI cable and my Oculus Rift and this little device worked very well indeed. Although at first I used the provided USB cable to power up the device, I then realised that it does not even need it! It works very well even with just the power the HDMI cable supplies. So very pleased with my purchase. For the record, I had to connect the 10m HDMI extension cable to my computer, then this repeater to the cable, and finally the Oculus Rift to the repeater. The only disappointment was that one of the 2 metal brackets provided had holes bigger than the head of the screws provided. So it was falling off. And that's the only reason why I did not give 5 stars.

Super, der HDMI Verstärker. Ich hatte in letzter Zeit immer öfter Bildausfälle bei der Übertragung des HDMI-Signals vom PC zum LG Fernseher (Kabellänge 10m) Zeitweise sind Bild und Ton alle 5 Sekunden für 1-2 Sekunden weg gewesen, insbesondere beim Anzeigen von Youtubevideos. Mit dem Verstärker direkt vorm Fernseheingang (USB-Ladekabel liegt dem Verstärker bei und muss in meinem Fall angewendet werden, da der PC wohl nicht ausreichend Spannung ins Kabel gibt. Ein weiteres HDMI-Kabel muss aber separat erworben werden) leuchtet das rote Lämpchen am Verstärker und das Bild ist nun stabil und uneingeschränkt perfekt. Ich kann diesen Verstärker nur jedem ans Herz legen, der Bildausfälle am Fernseher oder Beamer hat bei langem HDMI-Kabel. Spart Euch teure Kabel und investiert lieber ein paar Euro in diesen Verstärker! Super Gerät, klein, mit Befestigungsmaterial, wertig im schwarzen Blechgehäuse. Stromkabel mit USB A liegt anbei (ca. 1m lang, kann am Fernseher oder altem Handynetzteil angeschlossen werden), wird aber nicht bei jedem Zuspieler gebraucht, da einige Geräte Spannung ins HDMI- Kabel einspeisen und damit der Verstärker betrieben werden kann. Top Ware, warum hab ich das nur nicht schon eher ausprobiert...?!?

When our kitchen was remodeled the contractor put in a cheap 10' HDMI cable inside the wall for the TV, and since it was a ten foot cable, the picture CONSTANTLY dropped out. Irritating to put it mildly ... you can't replace the cable as he tied it down inside the wall. I've tried countless wireless HDMI receivers/transmitters (which NONE worked with video), using ethernet HDMI adapters and lots of other solutions. Some required drilling through walls, installing conduit and special tools. I had tried a passive HDMI "booster" previously, but it failed. As I didn't want to rip open the freshly painted/sheetrocked wall and was getting close to having to go to more extreme methods, I saw a powered HDMI booster on Amazon and it worked perfectly. Actually, I'm a bit shocked at how well it works and how simple it was to install. The secret here was that it was actually powered and DID boost the HDMI signal over the cheap cable. Such a relief ... this is one of those little things that when you need it, you need it. It saved me SO MUCH work. So yes, I'd recommend it.

Come scritto in titolo della recensione, questo oggettino è stato per me un "Meraviglioso risolutore di problemi irrisolti per un anno e 1/2" ...normalmente non ho troppo tempo da dedicare alle recensioni, ma questa volta mi spendo per aiutare altri 'audio-videofili' che - come me -siano purtroppo incappati in quel tipo di problemi che quando ero giovane, si usava dire, 'ci son le streghe nell'impianto' . Andiamo per ordine. L'impianto è piuttosto complesso , ma comunque pur sempre nei limiti della norma (per degli appassionati). E' composto da molti componenti, quasi tutti connessi in HDMI, che è la filiera ovviamente più importante. 2 uscite video : 1 verso un TV Full HD con funzioni, di fatto , di monitor di sistema e 1 verso un videoproiettore HDMI 3D collegato all'ampli con circa 15 metri di cavo ad alte prestazioni. Il problema era che quando si proiettava in HD a 1920x1080 tutto funzionava alla perfezione, nel senso che la sorgente (un player BD 3D della LG ) 'agganciava' perfettamente il proiettore, ma quando si passava a visualizzare un film in 3D era un continuo swap di frequenze di sincronismo e tutto si impallava tragicamente ....Cattivo player? Cattivo ampli? Cattivo proiettore? Cattivo cavo? .... prove, riprove, controprove e tenti, tanti incavolamenti per non risolvere mai il problema .... alla fine mi sono fatto tentare da questo minuscolo accessorio da pochi euro un po' come si fa con i 'viaggi della speranza' ...in questo caso si tratta di un evidente 'acquisto della speranza'..... Collegato l'accessorio a 50 cm dal proiettore, quindi con i 15 metri di cavo a monte, alimentato, messo nel lettore il solito film di prova 3D (come test ne uso 2 : Polar Express e - ovviamente - Avatar....) , atteso con sinceramente poche speranze l'aggancio dei sincronismi e ...INCREDIBILE MA VERO !!!! ...tutto si è immediatamente agganciato e SENZA PERDITA DI ALCUN FRAME!!!!. Spero di aver messo in questa recensione anche un po' della mia emozione di essere riuscito ad ottenere, alla fine, il funzionamento di un impianto da parecchie centinaia di euro grazie a questo scatolino miracoloso da poco più di 18 euro ...... Conclusione...prima di perdere la propria serenità perché il vostro impianto non funziona come invece dovrebbe, provate ad 'investire' qualche euro in questo amplificatore di segnale audio-video HDMI ...in fondo, sempre meglio che in pillole tranquillanti....
