First off I work as a diesel mechanic on garbage trucks. This flashlight is a beast. I've dropped it 100 times no issues. It's highest setting is bright as the sun. Forget streamlight,, I have a $250 one of them, and hate it. This thing is in my pocket all day and has been subjected to every fluid imaginable. Thumb trigger is perfect and brightness switcher on the thumb is the best. I had a 35 series and it's on the bezel and it broke twice. This 36 model is 100% better design. I had the lens break once. I contacted Fenix and they replaced the whole thing free. I'll never own another flashlight. Worth every penny.
