Worth Every Penny
I was slightly skeptical when I purchased this filter, and wasn't sure if there was any improvement. After roughly 500 miles on this filter, I decided to do as controlled a test as possible to compare between the AEM DryFlow and a stock Fram paper filter. I had driven approximately the same number of miles on a new Fram filter before installing the AEM filter, so all the variables in my road test were kept to a minimum. The road test was conduced on the exact same route with both filters, and I tried to be as conscious as possible to keep my driving style identical for both tests. The route included a few turns, stop signs, and several curves, and I encountered no other vehicles on the test. I also ran the road test without the AC on, as compressor on time can vary while driving. Road test was as follows: Fram paper filter: 29.0 mpg AEM DryFlow: 29.4 mpg In the long run, this filter will be better for your engine and better for your wallet. As a side note, on a cached version of AEM's website, they state that SimpleGreen can be used to clean your AEM DryFlow filter when it needs to be serviced. Keep this in mind, since AEM charged a ridiculous amount for their cleaning solution.

Fit perfectly
This was a great fit and I could tell it is well made. Feels very sturdy and has steel mesh backing. I will make more updates as to its overall performance after a few tanks of fuel

THE BEST
Hands down, The BEST air filter in the game! Out performs K&N, costs less, is more durable, and does Not require a BS filter recharge kit. As soon as I put it in the car I could hear a difference in the exhaust. You can hear the engine suck in air. You can feel a difference in the way the car reacts when you hit the throttle. And you notice a difference in throttle reaction. The car breathes the way it should.

Just go and buy this right now!
So I am super pleased with the performance of the AEM dryflow air filter. I had a high quality Wix air filter in my 2015 Taurus SHO that is mostly stock with 72k miles. I wanted something less restrictive but I did not wanna spend $300 plus for a cold air intake. I put the AEM in Sunday afternoon, reset the trip computer and I'm averaging 25.2 to 25.3 mpg about 85% highway/15% city, and the throttle response is greatly improved (still some turbo lag but not as bad). I would recommend to any Ecoboost owner looking for better performance without breaking the bank. Side note, I'm averaging almost 500 mile range with a stock 19 gallon fuel tank.

Good filter
It does what it is supposed to do, very easy to clean just tap on the ground to get most of the dirt out. Do not expect hp gains.

Personally, I like these because of long life
I'm a fan of AEM DryFlow filters. They filter better than K&N, and don't require oil, but they don't filter as good as paper media. (There is a study of just how bad K&N preform, Google: "nicoclub kn vs oem." It links to a study done against ISO 5011 preformed by Testand and just how poorly K&N performs for street use, since I know I'll probably get bashed for this) The main reason I like these is they are reusable and cleanable, and seem to be made well. I've ran one in all my vehicles for the past 6 or so years, and have never had a complaint. So, if you want a lifetime filter that is built well, and in a pinch can be removed and bashed against the ground to get larger dirt out if you are off-roading, or need a quick clean between taking the time to actually clean them, then these are a great choice.

not that crappy white paper stuff
Wow, wish I could give this more than 5 stars. Sometimes you find an exceptional product that performs beyond what you expected. This is what *should* be put into cars, not that crappy white paper stuff. After replacing the air filter with this it was noticeable. Acceleration was so much better it was crazy. The old air filter? Dirty, but normal. I've owned a few cars and changed out a few air filters, and never experienced anything like this. Then I changed the filter out on a friend's car and same experience. More pep and power, acceleration was improved, mileage increased. Very much recommended. Do it.

Reusable filter with less filtering capability than a stock paper filter
I bought this to stop having to buy paper filters. It’s nice to just vacuum and/or clean this out and throw it back in. There’s no added performance benefit. That can be backed up by independent testing. -1 star There is less filtering capability. That can also be backed by independent testing. -1 star I don’t live in a harsh or dusty environment, so I’m not as worried. If you do, I would highly recommend staying with the paper filter and checking it often.

It fits my 2014 Ford Flex, now its sounds like it sucks more air into the engine 😍.
