These are OK, certainly bargain priced, but it seems like more attention was paid to the case than the quality of the glass. The case is awesome, and the frames are fine too, but I find the glass distorts on the edge of my vision in a way other readers don't. This makes them uncomfortable to use in a situation where you are constantly looking down to read, then back up, like in a meeting. They work well enough as simple readers where you are focused on the text for a short time and they are more compact than other pairs, so they have their uses. I keep a couple around the house and in cars and they work well for that purpose being smaller than most - great to take in to a restaurant, for example, so I can actually read the menu. But, if I'm at work or settling in for a long read, I prefer to use other more comfortable options. I would not recommend if they were the only pairs you had, but they do OK as stop-gaps and those times when you just need a pair for a few minutes.

So I hit that age where my eyes just don't work like they used to and had to face the fact that my eyes need a little help. I really didn't want glasses with large lens, I wanted to be able to have them on but position them to where I could look above the lens for distance. These were exactly what I was looking for. I can have them on for reading and I don't have to take them off to look at something further away. I also love the fact that they came with hard cases to keep them from damage when I drop them into my pocket to take them with me to like a restaurant to be able to read the menu. I have been using them for almost 3 months now and I'm extremely pleased with them.

I tend to sit back from the computer at both the office at work and at home. Now that I am working exclusively at home I needed some weaker reading glasses for this. I tend to sit too close to the screen in order to be at the optimal distance to see with my current readers. I had worked half a day today and received my new readers in the mail at lunchtime. I opened up those box and took the glasses from their case and they are perfect! Comfortable, very light, and very well constructed, and optically perfect. I am so glad I ordered these. I bought two pairs so I will always have a pair at my computer. They are a great product and I will probably order a pair or two for my wife.

Okay, but if you work in front of a monitor, these do not have an Anti-reflective coating as mentioned.

Love the fit, width, and shape. I have a wider face so the 5.5 inch is perfect. Love that I can see over them to look at the TV or across the room. They stay on (no slipping) even when I look down. The reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is the color. I am very fair so the black frame is little stark for my coloring. It would be awesome if the color choice was expanded. Silver would be perfect for me.
