This was the best value stainless steel ultrasonic cleaner I could find in this size, with a heating element and complete with a basket and small parts container. It's Chinese built, like all the others, but distributed by a British firm based in Manchester, which gave me more confidence than ordering direct from China. It's robustly built and looks very solid. I've used it now a dozen times or more, mainly for watch cases and jewellery, which the small size is perfect for. Using the appropriate ultrasonic cleaning fluid and temperature, the results are outstanding - as good as any hightstreet jeweler can perform and at a fraction of the cost. One watch in particular (pictured) was caked in years of dirt. After removing the watch movement, ten minutes in this had it absolutely gleaming. Having the heating element means I can leave the same solution in between cleans and simply warm it back up when needed. Cleaners without heating elements are cheaper but require you to add fresh, warm solution each time or to clean at room temperature, which limits their effectiveness. By using the heating element I've only had to change solution twice, which is a significant cost saving over time. Overall I'm extremely happy, as you can probably tell.

Seems to work. Not as noisy as I expected. 2 litre capacity is just big enough for a pair of glasses.

I bought this (2L version) to test how they work for what I want to do and it's amazing. I tested it with some rusty bolts and brackets and they came out decent with the bracket back to shiney metal, I tested it with a basket full of greasy bolts from my project car and they turned out great. I tested it with veins from am old turbo and it took it back to looking like new. It has a 30 minute times which is a bit short compared to some others but no big deal and it's a bit irritating to be around but you can't expect anything else from something designed to do what it does.

I will not leave a long review. Read the 5 star reviews and that is all you need to know. It works well. A little slow to heat up but it works. If you need one, you wont be dissapointed.

A decent ultrasonic cleaner with a built-in heater. Makes short work of grime on small parts without damaging them. The unit takes a while to heat a full load of water to 40C but once its up to temperature it seems to turbocharge the cleaning action. I've also tried it on small greasy parts held in a sandwich bag with some degreaser and suspended in the water. The ultrasonic waves penetrated the plastic to clean without contaminating the water. I don't think its any noisier than any other ultrasonic cleaner and I only really notice that its been on when it turns off.

This was going for a great price so I took the opportunity. It is small but plenty enough for jewellery, 3 x pairs of glasses etc. The internal bath is about 20 x 18 x 8 cm. It does heat up but I find it just a lot quicker to put hot water in it. The timer is nice and clear and the unit itself seems solid. I've had good results with this but do check the dimensions, it may not be big enough for you.

As a keen year round cyclist one of the downsides is filthy bikes and drivetrains. I have tried various strategies of cleaning frequency and methods but the bottom line is that if you don't clean chains and cassettes thoroughly during the winter the wear rate is unacceptable. Initially I used a paintbrush, white spirit and an old baking tray but this was labour intensive, stunk of fumes and left me with dirty solvents to dispose off. About 2 years ago I bough a parts washer and used a water based de-greaser which was much better as I could leave the parts under the flow whilst doing other things but I still had to brush / agitate the parts at the end to get the really sticky grease off Having seen on YouTube people using ultra sonic cleaners to great effect I decided to get one. I got the 15L one so it would take a cycle chainset in without issue. So far I have used it for chains and cassettes with good results once I sorted out the better settings. What I found has worked well was a water / water-based degreaser mix (about 75/25 ratio) at 40-45 Deg C and for about 20-30 minutes. This has given good results Using just water for me (cold or at 40 Deg C) really did nothing and this mix with degreaser made a big difference. Also even with degreaser I got a lot better results when it was at around 45 Deg C The good thing is that you can just put in in and leave it running. I have still needed to give a bit of a wipe / brush on small areas at the end where the dirt is very ingrained - I could put it through another cycle and it would probably remove everything As others have said its quite noisy, but this is inherent - it has a speaker excites a container that acts as a loud speaker. Heating the fluid takes some time but it is only a 300W or so heater. I have also not filled mine much more then deep enough to cover the components I have cleaned so far which is about 5L. So heating a full 15L tank would take a long time. As others have said in this case filling it with water from a warm kettle would help, or just turning it on for 30-40 minutes before starting I fitted a hose tail to the tap so I can drain the fluid back into a container and reuse the fluid. Its good to see a lot of gritty sediment in the bottom of the container after use as it shows its working. I wipe this out with a rag I am not sure about longevity - there are a few reviews of people using it a few times and it being broken - let's hope they are anomalies. Bought mine when it had a discount code applied that made it a bit better value for money Very pleased with it so far

Advertised as a 2 litre but it's much smaller. Unfortunately dont have the original packaging so I cant even return it

Many people have said it is loud. Well, duh, it is a SONICation bath! It is no louder than any I've used. Mine is in a separate room in my shop. I wear ear protection when I'm near it. That is more for comfort than necessity. It is not that it is loud, but it is an irritating sound. That is all normal though. It does a great job cleaning tools and clock mechanisms. I was surprised that not only is dirt removed, but the brass seems polished! I love it. The drain fitting was easy to get a threaded barb from the Home Depot. Good tool.

Works better than expected. Noisy, but it is on a timer and in my garage so no issue. Used to clean oily and dirty parts. Great results!

this ultrasonic cleaner works very well ,use it to clean carburators and other automotive componants as well as tools . will accept a 4 barrel carb no problem. would recomend.
