A device to enable Dolby Atmos in sound bar with non EARC TV port.
It's working too good as expected. I had bought Sony Bravia Theatre 6 which support Dolby Atmos and I also had Fire TV MAX. Unfortunately my Tv was not having EARC port so I was not able to enjoy Dolby Atmos. I was searching for an option to make my new sound bar work as expected and came accross this on Amazon at first I was not sure weather it would work or not but there was a 10 days return policy so took a chance which was worth. So now I have connected the Fire TV MAX to this Device and EARC Audio Out connected to my Sony Sound bar and Video Out to the TV and it's working absolutely fine. Even though the instruction manual there is no mention of Dolby Atmos Format Support even though it's mentioned in the product introduction but after using the device I can say it's working too good or else I would have to wait to buy a new TV with EARC port as I had bought this TV just 6 months back. I would surely recommend this product if you have a Dolby Atmos AV receiver or a EARC Sound bar and Dolby Atmos Supported external devices such as Fire TV HD MAX with a Non EARC port TV to truly enjoy the Dolby Atmos. Ping me for any queries I would be happy to help on this.

Best eARC Extractor of HDMI Port
I have taken the little bit of time to give the review. Because I have to arrange the soundbar. This extractor eARC port will work through the mobile app of the soundbar. There is mentioned eARC port. You have to enable it. Then the enormous Dolby Atoms sound quality will enjoy. It is better OTT platforms. I am very satisfied to purchase this item for my old TV. I recommend it. This device is better, if you have a eARC port of your TV. This device has capable to extract better dolby atmos sound than your TV. My home is like a cinema hall.

Port connections are very good to have Sonos and projector connected..
THis is what I was lloking for to connect my Sonos with Projector and 4K Streaming box.. and I expect this to work correctly. Till now it seems fine and good to have if you want to connect eArc soundbar to have dolby audio from streaming box and visual on projector with only HDMI IN.

OREI HDA-929 connected to Soundbar through Nvidia Graphics Card via HDMI cable to get Dolby Atmos.
I give 5 star Rating to OREI HDA-929. It is perfect solution for those who want to connect an HDMI input source from PC, Blue Ray Player, Play Station ect. to a soundbar's eARC or ARC port then this is the device you need. It will take HDMI input source that is a combined Video+Audio signal and break the signal into Audio and Video and you can connect Soundbar which has no HDMI in port and only have ARC or eARC port. I am using this device with my PC's Graphics card RTX4060 which also a Sound card (not only a Video card) through this device to Zebronics 9900/9850 soundbar and I am getting proper 5.2.4 sound that is Dolby Atmos. It also supports backward sound formats. So rest assured this is a perfect solution for connecting a Soundbar to a PC to get proper Audio channel separation and activate Dolby Atmos in PC. There is no other option to connect a soundbar with PC. You can try SPDIF/optical toslink cable for digital connection. But that will not going to be perfect connection. To get Dolby Atmos in your PC you need an HDMI connection through this device. You can also use cheap HDMI to optical extractor connection adapter but that also not going to be perfect solution. In that situation you have to use Dolby atmos for headphone from Dolby Access app. And again that will be two channel audio not more than that. With only OREI HDA-929 you can connect Dolby Atmos for Home theater from Dolby Access app. Remember your graphics card have the ability to process High definition Audio. Not only Graphics. A graphics card itself a Sound card. And you will see Nvidia or AMD's High definition Audio software is already installed in your PC at the time you started using or installed a graphics card into your motherboard and installed the required drivers for the graphics card in your PC. Cheers.

Awesome sound on my Bose Soundbar
I kept thinking all this while that my HDMI input on the Bose soundbar was not working. I was connecting it directly to my PC. Thanks to chatGPT, I figured out about this whole eARC thing and sound separation. This extractor works like a charm. I connected it, and boom! way better sound than my earlier optical connection. If you want to project sound to a soundbar (which supports only ARC/eARC input), this is a good solution.

Compatible with 4k tv only
Won't work if your output tv is 1080p. It sends a 4k video which older tv can not recognize. No support available in India although chat support is prompt but not effective. I had to return it as it didn't work for my amazon firestick 4k as input and Sony bravia 2010 model tv as output, bose soundbar as audio

I have a 12 year old Yamaha RX-V665 receiver. It doesn't support any of the new tech, like Dolby Atmos or DTS:X, which is fine, but it also doesn't output past 1080p, which is a real deal breaker. I have a 4k HDR10+ TV, and the only way up until now to have this tv and receiver setup was to use an optical cable. What sucks tho is the optical cable is only compatible with 5.1 compressed, and it sounds far worse than using the direct HDMI from the receiver. That's where this device solves all my problems. This device allows me to have 4K HDR10+ video direct to my TV, and the audio extracted to an HDMI input to my receiver. So my receiver thinks I have the Roku plugged into it directly, giving me full 5.1 uncompressed, and I still get the full quality from my TV. I've been looking for a device like this for a long time, as the only other solution was buying another expensive receiver to replace my fully functional Yamaha. And I'm so glad it worked out of the box no problems.
