Small sized pill and hasn’t made me constipated (like most iron supplements) so far I think it’s good value for the money and I love the quality of Thorne products

I had all the usual symptoms: dull skin, wickedly painful heavy periods, depressing thoughts, low ferritin levels etc. After six days of using, the color in my face and hands came back. All of the symptoms I would typically get a week before my period never showed up, my flow and cramping was back to normal. It’s been three months since I started taking this and my hair is starting to thicken up again. My ferritin levels are also up and I haven’t had any issues with cold feet/hands. I started with two pills a day for the first month and switched to just one pill a day. I usually take it with a shot of orange juice or with a mandarin two hours before I eat anything else (or two hours after I eat), that includes coffee. Especially coffee. The pill obviously has a metallic taste so it’s best to swallow it immediately and not let it sit on your tongue. Sometimes I’ll burp and taste metal but it’s fine and doesn’t last long. It does make my poop black though, and smell weird, it frightened me at first but my doctor told me that’s normal. I’m going to keep purchasing this until my doctor tells me I can stop. HIGHLY recommend.

A colleague told me about these and I gave them a try. I’m happy to report, after consistent use, the numbers on my bloodwork have changed and my body is better absorbing iron. I have not had any negative side effects. These are easy to consume with a smaller capsule size.

Thorne is the best so far that I have used to help with my iron levels. I don’t get an upset stomach and it’s doesn’t cause me constipation. No taste and quality ingredients. Very effective and helped with my blood levels.

My blood results were low the past few tests and she wanted me to take some low dose iron along with the vitamins to increase the absorption. I had taken the simple iron tablets with good results and decided to take this product. I’ve had no issues, no upset stomach, great lab results, and goes down the throat with all my other pills. I’m very satisfied with their products and I’ll be buying their products for a long time.
