Works well at 2.5g and other at 10g
Binardat 5 Port 2.5G Switch, 5 x 2.5 Gigabit RJ-45, Good performance increase now a 2.5g backbone to my be800 router, Switch dose not apear to get hot, instruction booklet is useless only deals with 1g switch nothing about lights for 2.5g so lucky it's written on the switch. Binardat 4 Port 2.5G Switch with 2x10G SFP, Got 2x 10Gtek 10Gb SFP+ RJ45 Copper Module 30-meter, 10GBase-T SFP+ Transceiver Now have full 10g backbone to be800 router with 2.5g hubs off it. Good speed increase over internal network.

Good 10Gbe connectivity but noisy fan
good piece of kit that provides 10GB. However very noisy fan that’s constantly on. Easy to setup but the user interface needs someone that understands networking to get the best out of it. Metal build so robust and can be hidden in a cupboard.

Solid and affordable! Perfect for the job.
This switch does exactly what it says it will perfectly. We recently upgraded our home broadband to be faster than 1Gbps to 1.6Gbps. With that, our current home networking equipment only supported 1Gbps, so we needed a faster switch to be able to enable those faster speeds to a few specific devices we wanted to be able to access the full 1.6Gbps. This switch has been the perfect device to enable us to do that, with the dual 10Gbps SFP ports, I've been able to connect a 10Gbps uplink from this Binardat switch, to the Unifi UDM SE main router we have, with our internet coming into that over an existing 2.5Gbps WAN port. Then with this connected via that 10Gbps link, I've been able to connect up the 3 devices we have that support 2.5Gbps connections. (2x Windows PC's and 1x Caldigit TS4 Dock) Since connecting it up, I've tested the throughput speed between two devices connected to the switch using iPerf and registers a consistent 2.3Gbps which I think is pretty reasonable, especially at the price point comparing to other 2.5Gbps ethernet switches on the market. This has been perfect for what we wanted to achieve, a still primarily 1Gbps home network, but with a few 2.5Gbps compatible ports for those few devices we have that support it. I would strongly recommend this switch if you're in a similar situation just wanting to enable 2.5Gbps for a few devices!

Excellent value and great consistent speeds.
Having decided to take advantage of the 2.5Gb ethernet ports on my main PC and media serve rI bought this 8 port 2.5Gb switch to help with the network connections. Please see my photos When I arrived I was very pleased to feel its all metal construction. It feels very solid, the PSU looks to be equally well built. Running this unit with traffic across 6 of its ports and it remains very cool. The instruction manual is a waste of time, then again it is an unmanaged switch and so no UI or anything creative here. I did test the small switch on the rear of the unit, for VLAN mode, and it does indeed isolate the ports noted, ports 1 to 8 can indeed only communicate with port 9. That is not needed for me. Connecting this up to my home network, my goodness some of my cabling is quite old and yet seems to meet the requirement for a very sustained 2.5Gb connection and transfer, again see a photo showing a consistent 280MB/s transfer of a single large test file. For the exceptional value this offers I would find real difficulty on faulting it. I did not need it mounted, just left under a unit and the green LED lit up perfectly to indicate a 2.5G connection. Very well made, note again, not managed at all, and most functional at offering multiple ports and all of them being 2.5G capable. For me it has just worked and done so exceptionally well. Zero noise, no fan at all. Very pleased and recommended. I hope this has helped you.

Cheap, cheerfull, reliable.
For the money this is very good, after multiple months of use, its hasnt failed, I havent had to restart it and provides a 2.5gbe link speed from my upstairs "server" room to the living room - perfect for the price - very happy.

Good unit, small, and does what it should - as long as you can put up with the very loud fan!
Why did you choose this product over others?: I chose this for it's size, and the 10Gb ports. Switch quality: It seems robust. It does however run hot, all the time, even with little or no network traffic. The worst part is the fan - for such a tiny box it makes a loud noise - louder than my desk fan, and way louder than by 4-disk NAS unit. I cannot heat the fans in my laptop, servers or NAS from a few feet away. I can hear the fan in the Switch from two rooms away! Ease of setup: Setup was easy, it could not have been more simple. Plug and go. Functionality: It works exactly as I expected Value for money: It's OK. If the fan didn't sound like a wind turbine, it would be excellent.

They simply work with no fuss
Excellent little 2.5gb switch. I just plugged them in and they worked without any issues.

There weren't any reviews for this particular switch, so here you go. This switch is for those that need to convert a couple SFP+ 10G connections to a small number 2.5G or 1G RG45 connections, and are okay with an unmanaged switch. It's a good way to start experimenting with speeds beyond 1Gbps without spending too much. Construction is all metal, and it will take a few minor bumps without issue. It comes with a wall-wart style power supply for North American outlets, four rubber feet one can stick on, and an unhelpful quick start guide. This is an unmanaged switch so don't expect anything fancy. It does do what it is supposed to for a reasonably price (as far as these devices go). For my purposes, it's a win. I tested all the ports using iperf3 and they performed as expected. Testing from 2.5G to 2.5G (or to SFP-10G) I saw rates between 2.3 and 2.4Gbps; and going from SFP+ to SFP+, I saw rates around 9.4Gbps. Diving deeper....the switch passes VLAN tags just fine, even though it doesn't understand them. For SFP/SFP+ compatibility, I tried a generic 10G DAC cable, a generic SFP-10G-SR transceiver (coded as Intel), a generic SFP-10G-LR (coded as OEM), and a QSFPTEK SFP-1G RJ45 transceiver. All worked just fine. It supports both 1G SFP and 10G SFP+, and has an LED indicating which is detected. It has a small switch on the front labeled "Default or VLAN". This doesn't have anything to do with 802.1Q VLANs, this is a port isolation switch to prevent traffic between 2.5G ports. I did not test it, and most people will want to leave it at the default position. If this fits your needs, it's worth consideration. I'm happy with it so far.

All in all exceeded my expectations. This is a great entry point for 10gbit networking. For the price, these specs and features cannot be found anywhere else. Been using it about a week now (All ports, most at 10gbit). Some of my thoughts: - I got this switch because I needed something that can handle 10,5,2.5g and this switch uniquely does them all - Works as advertised, I am reaching the 10 gig speeds on all ports (tested with cat6a on the RJ45 ports, and the included dac on the SFP) - Noise is really not that bad. Yes, the fan is not quiet, but I see reviews here saying they can hear it two rooms away. I placed it in a closet less than 1ft away from my workspace, when that closet is closed I don’t hear a thing. Not nearly as bad as I feared. - Does get a bit hot but this is expected for such a small package. I have all the ports in use and it’s not concerningly hot. - Setup is relatively easy. Lots of settings that can be tuned. CLI is very similar to most typical managed switches so it’s not difficult to figure out. WebUI is surprisingly intuitive and useful - All my use is on L2, I cannot speak of L3 performance, but I wouldn’t expect much as the CPU is probably not too powerful. I would not buy this based on its L3 abilities. - Definitely do not expect any support or firmware updates of any kind.

2.5Gはなかなか見つからず、それにそんなに多く有線で使用しないのでコンパクトな物を探していたので即購入。個人的には良い買い物をしたと思っている。
