The item description for this cable is WRONG. I purchased two of them and now have to return them. In order to get your iPhone to charge in FAST mode, you need the OEM Apple USB-c to Lightening cable.

This works when it’s plugged into a usb C adaptor in the wall. I was so frustrated because I could never get it to work, and I found out it was because it was plugged into an extension cord, which we mostly use for all of our plugs. Now when I plug it into the wall it works great for my iPhone 8 Plus.

I needed a cable to sync with my Macbook and iPhone to transfer documents between for my business. This cable works great for that. I'm very pleased. It's just the right length for my needs and does the job great.

Did not work to charge my iPhone 6 Plus from a Skyroam Solis portable hotspot. Phone cycled in and out of charging state until I disconnected it. I was concerned that damage might be occurring.
