I love this rod. Bought it to match the reel. Spiral wrap and great handle. Worked great. Used it last sunday and caught a 14 pound white Hake. Made good work of the hake. Nice a light to jig all day. Highly recommend.

Very good rod
Love the rod however this isn't a true slow pitch rod inaccurate description it's more of a jigging rod with a trigger however it's fun to fish built well and a great value I would recommend it for jigging here in northern California I use it for rockfishing 3 to 6 Oz iron off the bottom

The balance is perfect. Real quality
Can't wait to use it. Very strong yet very light. The balance is perfect. Real quality. It was advertised to have a hook holder but it was not there.

Good for the price point but guides are very inconsistent from one rod to the next.
Bought the 6'8" Heavy version and the 7'1" Extra Heavy Version.These are spiral wrapped rods.One rod was spiraled in the complete opposite direction as the other.One rod the rearmost guide is offset in the opposite direction than the spiral direction.Would not buy these rods again but would instead go to other manufacturers entry level rods.
