Outstanding sound in a small footprint
I have a pair of Eris E5s that I use for my music setup, but I found them to be a little lacking, so I had to augment them with extra tweeters and a large subwoofer. This worked well, but for my computer desk, I wanted something simpler, and didn't have space for a subwoofer. After evaluating some other options, I decided to give these a try, and I'm not at all disappointed. They fit nicely on my desk on either side of my monitor, and give amazing sound all the way from desk-shaking rumbles up to sharp percussive sounds. As gimmicky as it looks, I think there's something to this coaxial design. Something always sounded a bit weird about the treble in my E5s when sitting up close, and I'd long wondered if it could be to do with some phase weirdness. I guess that could very well have been it - either way, I hear nothing of that in these. I've tried a bunch of different desktop monitor speakers over the years, and mostly been disappointed, but this is the first time I've been truly satisfied with just a single pair of something. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.

Great pair of studio monitors
I like the clear/crispy sound that these monitors produce. They pack a punch with the volume as well. Love them!!!

Beast speakers at this price point by far.
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I was looking to replace my Eve Audio SC208's after they became irreparable after only several years of use. Those sounded great until they didn't. These fit the bill at less than half the cost. The bass sounds incredible. Like the SC208's, you get a flat EQ curve all the way down to 36hZ, 35hZ in this case. Another advantage is the coaxial configuration. They place the tweeters inside the woofers. No worries about trying to find the sweet spot. The whole room is the sweet spot. Another plus is the sturdy construction and analogue build. The HS208's had a flimsy knob on the front that I knew would be trouble. There isn't a single aspect of the ERIS Pro 9 that looks cheap, fragile, or of low quality. The Kevlar woofers easily outclass the Paper of my old Yamaha HS8'S. The silk tweeters make higher frequencies sound easy on the ears. My old $2000 speaker setup might have sounded slightly better overall when it worked, but at $700 for a pair, I'm not complaining. I also appreciate that there is no default, artificial DSP EQ curve altering that comes with these units. Just a couple of knobs for lows, mids, and highs in the back. My old speakers would try to artificially account for distortions caused by my desk, and those alterations could not be bypassed. The Wris Pro 8 speakers do seem to dull the highs just a bit compared to what I am used to, like a D-esser was applied, but that will spare my ears during longer mixing sessions.
