First time making bonbons and they came out better than I expected. One mold had a slight scratch but it didn’t really show on the chocolate so overall I was very pleased. I had a lot of trouble getting out the chocolates and had to bang the mold very often to make the chocolates fall (most eventually did!). I microwave tempered Callebaut chocolates but I’m a total beginner so I know that between the tempering and lack of practice filling molds, it likely made the experience much more difficult. I’ve only used it twice and the second time was more difficult to get the chocolates out so I’m not sure how well it stands against constant use, but again it’s very likely it was due to my inconsistency. Definitely do research on how to make chocolates and use/care for the molds if you’re a beginner like me.

I love the little facets on these candies when they come out of the molds. The candy comes out very easily as long as the mold is nice and cold. Washes well in the dishwasher. I am very pleased.

My wife's a chocolatier, and I collect various molds for her. She has some 45-50. This one is great for putting caramels inside and looks like a caramel chocolate piece also. Sturdy, easy to clean and chocolates come out easily if you coat the molds with cocoa butter. You can even use colored cocoa butter. Make sure the mold is warm before putting in the tempered chocolates. See "Making Chocolate for Dummies." Best beginners chocolate-making book

Really expected cheap and flimsy plastic. Wow! Heavy duty solid plastic mold arrived. It was perfect to form candies and a great shape. Very impressed

I had been looking for a square chocolate mold for a few weeks when I came across this one. It was a good price and had good reviews, so I ordered it right away. When I received it I immediately noticed that several of the cavities had scratches in them, ohers had imperfections causing odd shaped plateaus in them, and finally the middle cavity had a noticeable divot in it where it was pulled from the molding machine. I figured I had just got a bad one, and set up a return and replacement. The second one arrived quickly, but had the same issues. Odd divots, and the center cavity bubble. I decided to try it out thinking maybe I was just seeing imperfections on the back side of the mold. Nope! The chocolates did release well, but showed every single imperfection. With as many good reviews as this had, I was really surprised with the product I received. The second mold is on it's way back and I am looking for a new one.

Easy to use. Coated with chocolate, poured out remaining chocolate ×2. Filled and final coating. Came out beautiful. Also have made after filling, I slightly melted one and connected it to another.
