I love my morning espresso and I love this product. The scoop handle makes it easy to fill and it fits perfectly in my Nespresso machine. Depending on how you tamp your coffee, it holds 4 to 6 grams of coffee. The cost is less than 10 cents a cup for the coffee I use. Quite a savings from the Nespresso pods for just a little effort and no drop in quality. Great product.

These pods are amazing. I've used pods without foil wrappers but instead have a stainless steel filter. These are superior in everyway. These pods are the same size as a regular Nespresso pod, therefore you get no water leaking around the pod and watering down your espresso. You also get a full shot of espresso (or a standard Nespresso shot)Because they are the standard size, you get a regular filling of coffee grinds. The pods with a stainless steel filter top are smaller so that the pod doesn't damage the machine Therefore you get less coffee grinds per pod. I had to use three of those pods where I normally use two.Additionally, these pods, when closed in the machine, sit firm against the capsule opener and when you press the start button you hear that classic foil "pop" and a nice dark and creamy espresso flows.The scoop is fantastic. It makes it so easy to get coffee grinds into the cup from the bag. No longer is my bulky hands and fingers rubbing the bag or accidentally touching the coffee grinds. One clean scoop motion and your done. You can even level it with the bag as you pull the scoop out.The foil is easy to place and seal. I do like the silicone matt. however, I wish there were little holes in the bottom. After washing the pods I place them into the silicone molds but water tends to collect in the bottom of the mold. I guess I need to dry the pods better.At any rate, if your looking for reusable pods that deliver great taste and crema, these are the ones!!!

I am not blaming the product, more the process. But I'm finding it hard to make the espresso pods. 1. I keep making the coffee grind too fine, and it's a slow pour from the Nespresso. Or worse, it blocks the flow of the Nespresso. I have a bur grinder so i can adjust the coarseness, i just am having a real hard time finding the right spot2. I love my coffee brands for pour over coffee, but for some reason, it's more bitter in this espresso maker. Is that expected? I don't know, but another reason why I'm having a hard time with this process3. It is a bit labor intensive. Fun the first few times, but then it's just a chore. And i use 2 pods power coffee, so making 6 pods goes very quicklyBut in all fairness to this product, i love that it comes with a holder for the pods. It seems like there is some air tightness so that the coffee doesn't go stale when the pods are pressed into the holder. The sticker tops are easy to apply and place in the correct position. The scooper tool works well by making the pod itself the scoop. But i haven't figured out how not to spill any coffee grinds when making these.

I rarely write reviews but I felt very inclined to do so for this product. I’ve now made ~10 shots over the course of 3 weeks of having these. I have a D’Longhi Mini Essenza Nespresso machine, and it fits these capsules like a glove, a very tight glove. That’s a good thing, because a loose fitting capsule will cause water leakage into your espresso cup and dilute your drink (and experience). I weigh 5 grams of finely ground dark roast (seriously, I just buy pre ground espresso that Trader Joe’s sells, rainforest packaging) in the capsule and use the included “tamper” to compress the grounds. It’s a little bit messy of a process but I’ll take cleaning up since the end result is phenomenal. I use filtered water ONLY in my Nespresso machine and overall, it works like a charm. Lovely aroma (better than store bought pods) and perfect amount of cream too. Resist the urge to fully fill and pack the capsule, as some space is needed for the water when the foil lid is penetrated. I’ve made these the night before and even after sitting sealed by the foil for 8 hours, they still taste fresh in the morning. Each shot is very consistent and up to the caliber and quality of Nespresso brand pods. I took a chance after reading some mixed reviews, but boy am I glad I got these. I am now so excited to experiment with pre-ground espresso from different roasters, since the standard Trader Joe’s brand espresso tastes so good. This saves so much money over buying one time use pods, and the taste is phenomenal! Fantastic value!!!

The stainless cup is study enough to drive a car over, But the loading and cleaning and repeat is pretty loathsome over time. I did this for a time. Fact is the tray didn't really come in handy. The loader didn't come in handy. You take the cup, fill it with your hand inside the bag of coffee, clean off the rim and stick on the foil. You do not need the stainless cups as you can reuse Nespresso aluminum cups a few times before tossing them. All you really need are the foil caps. But honestly, I got to refilling 35 to 40 at a whack so I wouldn't need to do it often and they were plenty ready to go. And yes, in a few weeks I didn't want to do it anymore. There are cheaper coffee pods available from Rosso Cafe and Lavazza but the coffee inside them is NOT great coffee and I would not buy those again either. So you are stuck between Nespresso at 80 cents a cup or hunting through other brands, or ... loading your own?!? I am back to Nespresso.

I was sceptical initially so I only bought the single pack for my husband for Father's Day, just to see if it worked. I was worried about the capsules fitting in the machine and whether it would clog up or the stickers would actually stick etc. However, I definitely didn't need to worry. It was so easy to set up and hubby was very happy with strength of coffee (some reviews stated the coffee came through much weaker). I bought strength 5 Taylors coffee and it all works perfectly and strength is perfect vs the Nespresso purple pods my husband usually buys. Overall we will save money vs the usual pods and more importantly save on the ever growing waste and need for recycling that the Nespresso pods warrants. I am so pleased that I have since upgraded to the larger pack with more capsules, stickers and accessories.

I was gifted a Nesspresso machine and felt criminal using single-use pods. Then I discovered this set. It does take a bit of effort in the beginning, but now filling the pods has become part of my morning ritual. In fact, I enjoy the process so much, my husband and I fight over who gets to fill the pods.The resulting coffee strength is mild. My friends prefer to use 2 of these pods in each cup. I prefer my coffee mild, so it works for me.

It takes trial and error to find the best way to prepare it. However, it works very well and saves money. It fits my DeLonghi citiz smoothly.
