I only use this light when I go to check on my chickens without blinding the world and waiting everyone up. Works great, I have had it for a few weeks and it's still very bright without needing a charge.Feels sturdy, doesn't dim or flicker.Worth it. Now I need a green one.

I had a similar flashlight that required batteries; batteries didn't last long, and it was unreliable. THIS DESIGN is a huge improvement! I mainly use it for getting up during the night. The charge lasts for about 2 hours total, and the button will flash, or the light will flicker when it's time to recharge, which takes a little over an hour. The red light is very bright! When you zoom it to the narrow point of light, it illuminates a surprisingly long distance, and I've even seen wild animals in our wooded backyard, without disturbing them. It's fun to use on nighttime walks and doesn't hurt dogs' eyes if you shine it toward them. NOTE: THIS IS A PERFECT FLASHLIGHT IF YOU LIVE NEAR OR VISIT A SEA TURTLE NESTING AREA! RED LIGHT CAN HELP SAVE HATCHLINGS FROM GETTING DISORIENTED. RED FLASHLIGHTS ON A DARK BEACH ALLOW YOU TO SEE TURTLE NESTS AND WILDLIFE WITHOUT USING HARMFUL, DISRUPTIVE WHITE LIGHT.

It works fine, and the beam's width can be adjusted from a bright red square to a wider, somewhat dimmer cone. The power button glows green when it's on and red when it's recharging. It seems too bright for my eyes, and it's hard to find the button in the dark, but those are minor problems. The end cap unscrews to expose the USB charging port, so it won't pop off by accident.

This red light works great. It's small and can be recharged via USB so you don't need to keep replacing batteries.

They are BRIGHT! I wish there was a dimming feature instead of the beam adjustment feature. Other than that, they work well, just cheaply made, as you can expect. I ordered a bunch for nighttime walks through my environmental education job, and on the first use one of the buttons fell off and one of the lenses popped out. The rest of them are still intact, so maybe a 15% falling apart rate. For the price, it's a good product.

Had to remove a wasp nest and was reading that a red flashlight works at night when you should spray the nest because they can’t see it. I wanted to try it because the last time we had to spray a nest, I remember them bouncing off the lighted window when we ran back into the house.So this worked great. Was able to see the opening of the nest with the red light, which you can adjust down to a small square to pinpoint the area. And after spraying didn’t get attacked running back to the house lol. 👍🏻

You can plug it in any USB port that gives off power to charge it and it will charge fairly fast. The red light is pretty bright compared to my other cheaper battery powered red lights I own.Only concern I have is the Chrome ring around the top of the light. It shows a double halo around your spotlight. Not really a big deal but drives me crazy personally.

Much appreciated!The product description for this flashlight said it could be used for nightlight indoors... well, not really. I needed, and I still do, a red flashlight to illuminate when I had to get up at night, as the red light would not disturb the eyes, and I struggle with sleep troubles. Unfortunately, this flashlight is extremely bright for indoor use, so not for me, it was not helpful for my needs. However, I must say that it is compact, which is good, and the usb charge is a very nice feature.
