I was worried at first that one of the rods would break whilst I assembled it but amazing how flexible they are. Its a bit fiddly at first and putting the metal pegs into the loops can be a tricky time but once its done, its well worth it and a bargain at £16! Happy

The media could not be loaded. Setup was a little harder than the video, but go there in the end. I haven't used it properly, so i gave brightness a middle rating. However, brightness is also affected by flash power.

For the price, I can't complain to put it together is fiddly and time-consuming. If you use it in a studio, fine butfor outside jobs forget it, or your keep it build up, otherwise, it takes far to long to put it together again.

Bearing in mind that this was a budget softbox at the time of my purchase, I have to say it is a very nice softbox for the keen hobbyist such as myself. Not too big, but big enough to provide nice portrait lighting. It doesn't have a grid, but otherwise it's very nice. The only criticism I have is the little fiddly clips to hold the inner diffuser in place. But I found a fix.To make it much easier to fit the inner diffuser, you need to bend the clips. Only do this once you are totally satisfied that you will be keeping your softbox, as it will invalidate your ability to return it.So, the fix is basically to convert the clips into sort of hooks. The elastic will make sure that the inner diffuser will stay in place once attached and will not fall out of the loops as it is held under tension (see first picture). All you need to do is to make sure that the clips wont fall off from the inner diffuser loops once the softbox is dismantled. The pictures shows the clips after I bent them (with snip nose pliers). Note that I made sure that the clip touches the other side to stop the elastic of the inner diffuser being able to come out. The pictures also show how easy it is to attach it and detach it now. No more fiddling around trying to get those blessed clips to open. I hope you find this tip helpful. And if you decide to buy this softbox, enjoy it.P.S. When I was breaking it down yesterday, one of the metal end caps on one of the rods came off. I glued it back, but we'll see if this becomes an issue...

ripped the first time assembling. I'm hoping this was just a faulty one and have contacted neewer to get a replacement. Still waiting to hear back.It is a shame as looks like it could be a decent affordable softbox to start out with. It is a little stiff assembling.

Okay product for the money, if you've got a really tight budget, but it really does take too long to set up

Great item bit awkward to put together but once up is perfect. For a used product I'm really impressed with the quality.

I ordered this because it’s a reasonable price and it looks like it would do the job. I do a lot of high key photography and it has just helps so much going to the manufacturer of my lights and getting one of these is in the hundreds and it would be exactly the same, so if you’re looking for one, I guarantee it you buy it and you won’t be sorry I am a professional photographer that uses all sorts of equipment, and I found this manufacturer to be very reliable in their equipment

Jag kunde omöjligen montera denna. Blev en reva i tyget då jag tog i för mycket. Blev till slut tvungen att kapa pinnarna för att överhuvudtaget få ihop den. Jag hade uppenbarligen slarvat att läsa tidigare recensioner där detta framgår.

Tijdens het in elkaar zetten scheurde de naden al uit. Ook zijn de aluminium staafjes direct gebogen, terwijl ik maar minimaal kracht zette... Zeer teleurstellend.

La verdad es que por 30€ esperaba otra cosa mucho más inferior, tiene unos acabados que si no le miras la marca y la ves montada no piensas que es neewer. Base de alumino y las varillas con terminaciones en metal por lo que nunca se van a salir las puntas perforando la pantalla.El montaje es todo lo sencillo que es el montaje de una ventana de este tipo, si estás buscando portabilidad quizá no es la más apropiada porque andar montando y desmontando se puede hacer tedioso y por experiencia con otras, aunque sean de marcas de primera, se terminan rompiendo. Aunque es solo de 60cm, que a las malas te entra montada en el maletero; pero está más pensada para estudio y no moverla mucho.Por lo general si necesitas una ventana octogonal de 60cm está muy bien.

Finde die Octagon Softbox sehr gut. Jedoch ist sie vor allem für feste Studios geeignet und nicht so gut für mobile. Es benötigt etwas Kraft um sie zusammen zu bauen und auch wieder auseinander zu bekommen. Es geht, aber es ist jetzt nicht so, dass ich das ständig machen wollen würde. Aber ansonsten top Qualität. Das einzige was mir aufgefallen ist ist, dass der Diffusor etwas dünn ist und man somit teilweise auch in der Spiegelung der z.B Augen die Lampe+ Softbox sieht, also auch genau da wo die Glühbirne ist.
