You do need to assemble them yourself, but it’s very easy and only takes a couple of minutes to put all of them together. Despite being lightweight, they still feel sturdy once built and hold their shape well. They’re ideal if you want the look of coffee table books without the bulk or cost of real hardbacks. Delivered quickly. We'll packaged. Easy to put together. I have used a little glue on the spines of the "books" as they would not stay together but after a little while they are fine.

Really classy looking decorative books. Purchased these to go in my new country dresser and they look great. You do have to assemble them yourself but they do come with clear instructions and pre folded. There is also pre glued strips to hold them together once folded. Great value for money compared to the more expensive pre built ones.

J'ai acheté ces livres pour parfaire la décoration d'une petite étagère. Le rendu est tout simplement magnifique et élégant ! Je m'attendais à une qualité cheap et franchement, c'est tout le contraire : ces faux livres sont d'un réalisme confondant. Je précise également que leur montage est un jeu d'enfants. Pour ce qui concerne les fautes d'orthographe : - Je confirme bien que pour le volume "FASHION BOOK", on est bons : le "i" a été rajouté ; par contre : - sur le volume "VERMEER", il est inscrit "Bibliotheca Unicersalis" > presque bon ;-) Bref : de faux livres mais de vrais beaux objets de déco ! Bon shopping :-)

Was very easy to put together. I love the look of the books with the sculpture (also from Amazon). They corrected the typo in Fashion (the “i” was missing on the Amazon pic), but there are still a couple of smaller typos. If you can live with those, I’d say get them. You can store small items in the boxes. NOTE: Should read Bibliotheca (h instead of b) Universalis (v instead of c). Also, the “s” in Schutz should be upper case.
