These bookends are exactly what they say on the box. Really pretty metal bookends. If you are looking for something that isn't too expensive, looks nice, and holds books in place, then this is meant for you. I purchased these and opened them excitedly as I have many books on a shelf but not enough to fill it out and they constantly fall over. I really liked the tree motif on them and they felt pretty sturdy. I was delighted to see them holding up my hardback and paperbacks firmly in place on my headboard. These are very nice for great price.

Very Nice! The bookend metal is substantial enough to hold 12" worth of books upright and secure. Perfect size. The design is really cool. Black powder-coated paint is well done. Good quality bookends! I bought these for my many cookbooks. I purged a lot of my old cookbooks and still had quite a few left, they would just not stand up on their own. I bought these for said cookbooks and they work perfectly. They have a nice design and do the job in my pantry.
