These are definitely a tiny little hinge. Even seeing the dimensions , I was surprised how tiny. They are decently made for such a small piece of hardware and the finish is very nice shiny brass. The pins are a little tight, but I found a pinch here and there with smooth jaw hobby pliers, they smooth right up. Seem the "legs" that wrap around the pin are a bit misaligned. They come with nails, but I think I may locate some screws for my project, to make a more secure hold. Nice little hinges for small crafts. I am happy with my selection.

I have not been able to use these on a project yet, but I do believe they will work well. I have opened and closed them numerous times and they feel very sturdy for such a small piece hinge. I put them under stress and they take a lot of force to bend out of shape. I feel these will hold up for quite a while on any small project you might need them for.

This is the perfect size to use on those small keepsake projects that people so love. They are made of a durable brass coating that has not faded peeled or tarnished as of yet. The screws fit each and every time I have installed these. You will not find a better group of these out there then the ones you are looking at and reading the reviews on. Each one seems to have the same tension in the durability of the hinge and not more loose in one and tighter in the other so that you are able to create a project with the same amount of pressure being put on both sides at the same time and that is what you want.

Since I got a laser cutter I find myself making a lot of little boxes. These will be great for that. I just tried them on a box I made for a game. It's a little big for these small hinges but I can get around that by using more of them. The little nails are kind of hard to work with. I had to hold them with tweezers. But they work for 5mm plywood, which I use a lot, the points of the nails are just visible on the inside.

My large fingers are going to require tweezers to put the nails in. I may have to find mini screws instead for my ease of use.I do not take any stars from them for this as they are supposed to be small. My son is wanting me to make small wooden boxes for all the grandkids. I can see these hinges being used on the boxes depending on the size of each personalized box.My wife will use these on her many different projects to hinge doors, windows, etc. They will be absolutely fantastic for that. I could also see them being used in doll house construction or repair.We will enjoy using these to help us bring our creations to new levels.

However it turned out to be quite difficult to attach the tiny hinges to the wood box I was working on.
