I keep trying to fold the fingers and the cookie just melts. What am i doing wrong? Is it only good for the biscuit recipes?

Although I never used them for cookies myself, I am going to guess you have to go with a shortbread, gingerbread or sugar cookie type recipe. Look for cookie recipes where the cookie doesnt change shape too much while cooking. You can also use rolled up aluminum foil to keep some fingers curved. Hope that answers your question.
