Used double-sided Velcro tape to stick these LED string lights to a step on my stamped concrete patio. Works very well and provides nice definition for the step. Looks beautiful. Have had for almost a year and it worked every day. Caution.: be careful when installing if you put too much pressure on one of the LED nodes, they will crack and will be permanently broken. While the rest of the string will work fine you will have a dark spot if you crack a node. I learned the hard way when I installed and was pressing a little firm to the tape in a couple spots and did crack a couple. Other than that would definitely buy again. A much thicker and more solid product than many of the competitors.

Beyond thrilled with the product. Used it to light a dark staircase- see picture. LED strip is high quality, and durable. I used HD double sided tape to hold the strip in a channel under the hand railing- perfect fit.At the one year mark of installation, the battery started to fade (should be expected). I sent the seller a message, they responded same day, and immediately sent a replacement solar panel. I would’ve gladly pay the whole price again. It withstands the wild Alabama weather flawlessly- unlike everything I’ve used from a big box store.

I bought these because the reviews seemed to be good. I don't know if they changed manufacturers or what, but those reviews are not accurate to my experience. I am no solar light novice. I have all kinds, all over my yard. I am quite solar savvy. The first set of these lights I purchased did not work at all. The solar panel looked to be functioning properly (it showed the battery life, the power and mode buttons seemed to work appropriately), but the lights did not come on, even with the solar panel on and completely covered. The remote did not work either. I requested a replacement hoping it was a fluke. The second set of lights seemed to work fine. I drilled holes in my deck, fished the lights through, screwed all the clips in, and assembled. The lights looked great! That remote did not work either but I was willing to overlook it since I would probably never use the remote anyway. Sadly, those lights only worked for 2 nights. They turned on perfectly at dusk and off at dawn. And then never came on again. The solar panel looks to be charged all the way, and I made sure it was completely obscured from the light. I tried all the modes and all the combinations. Nothing. I even tried the panel from the first set since I had not taken it back yet. Still nothing. Now I have to undo everything and return these as well. Very frustrating!

These lights are perfect. They’re bright. They have different modes where they’ll flash and twinkle. Install was super easy. We did our entire deck on the bottom, really adds to the holiday field for sure, but also can’t wait to a hot summers night when we’re just drinking wine. Lights are very bright, just really a great purchase loved it so much chasing a second set. I say yes to this purchase all day well!

We use this to highlight our front yard garden area. We ran it on the ground alongside the front of the garden edging. it is very flexible and super easy to install, and the length was just perfect for where we needed it. the lights are just bright enough and the solar panel keeps them lit for a good portion of the night. it has held up well so far in the harsh weather and is a great addition to any outdoor decor.
