Nice addition to the tool kit
Used to drill holes in plastic, worked very well. Not sure how long it will keep it's edge but can't complain at this price point. Would recommend.

For ENLARGING existing HOLES in STEEL
I used this INEXPENSIVE Stepper-Bit, to EXPAND a pre-existing 12mm Diameter HOLE in a 5.5mm THICK STEEL PLATE out to 15mm DIAMETER. For accuracy and STABILITY I mounted the POWER drill on to small DRILL STAND (like a BENCH DRILL) to hold the DRILL steady while the larger HOLE was CUT. I was very IMPRESSED and it did so with ease. The SECRET is to go in FIRST from one side and drill half-way down approximately, then turn the STEEL PLATE over, and come in from the other-side. Be careful NOT to over-heat the DRILL BIT and use SLOW SPEEDS. Brilliant value !

Step Drill Bit HSS Titanium Step Drill Bit For Metal Multiple Hole Drilling Cone Drill Bit Stepped
I got this as I've new windows fitted and need to put back up my CCTV system. Meaning I have to put 2 holes in my new windows. Drill with normal drill then use this to expeand the hole to the size needed. Works great with my battery powered screwdriver. Not fast like some. Nice and steady. Did a great job on both holes and impressed me a lot. For the price of ££5.39 it's a bargain. Nice and sharp and expanded the holes like it was butter. Gets a sloid 5-5. Totally recommended.
