Simple tool for a specific purpose.
Tool made for measuring gap between rod and plunger on master cylinder. Makes it very easy to correctly set up your brake pedal.

Brake rod reliability
Having done many brake conversions and modifications over the years I had actually built a crude version of this tool years ago. Over time it went missing, and even though I don't have cause to use it that much anymore when I saw this one on Amazon I HAD to buy it "just in case" I need to use it again.What were once guesses at brake rod length now become factual, data-backed measurements that will lead to a far superior braking force and pedal feel.Spend a few bucks and buy one of these tools, you'll be happy you did!

Does the job

Necessary tool for booster installation, nice strong magnets, fast delivery. Highly recommend.

Shaft size gives inaccurate measurement.
The end of the shaft that fits into the master cylinder to contact the concave valve rod end is too small to be accurate. It can only be accurate IF the tool's rounded rod's diameter and radius curve is EXACTLY the same as the rod it is measuring for. This tool sits too deep and gives an inaccurate measurement. I had to just measure the shaft and old school grind off the excess length (a hair at the time) using a bit of clay to check the clearance and get the .02 gap right.

Great tools
Pretty straight forward, easy to use tool. Made of quality materials and does exactly what it is supposed to. My only negative comment would be, it could maybe use some stronger magnets in the ends. Other than that it is great, and it works well.
