Great derailleur
It's a great derailleur; very ompact and yet able to provide a quite remarkable chain wrap capacity. I have it on two bikes and haven't had any issues so far.

Benchmark for silence and durability
Truly great derailleur that shifts crisp and clean and resists knocks better than anything else out there. Not the lightest, but far and above it is the most durable. Has very very strong springs, and when combined with the clutch mechanism this thing runs silent and pretty much eliminates the need for a chain guide. I wish shimano also made a medium length cage for it so it could be used on a wide range 11-42 cassette. That would make this a 10 star product.

The best DH groupset for the money.
I bought this for my downhill-specific bike (Devinci Wilson) and couldn't be happier. With the rise of 11 and 12 speed groupsets, 10 speed stuff like this is "old tech" - which is great news for DH riders! The 10 speed Saint groupset is less than half of what it used to cost, and is still the best out there for us gravity types. It shifts fast and smooth, looks great (especially that rugged clutch lever) and was dead simple to setup. Downhill riders don't shift all that much so the benefit of the extra range of 11 and 12 speed groupsets isn't a big deal. It's great to be able to save a few bucks on top end "old" stuff like this, because saving money is pretty rare in cycling.
