It’s really easy to build I love how it fits and it looks soo good in my room! I thought it might be a little too big but it’s perfect!

From my wife: My colleague put these shelves on her desk and I thought they were useful and cute so I ordered them. I read some reviews saying it was difficult to put them together. I simply followed the instructions and found it very easy. All the holes were properly drilled and lined up with the holes in the other pieces. The little screwdriver that was included worked well. I really like these shelves and they look great on my desk.

I really like this product. The assembly was easy, just a couple of screws and adequate instructions. The color was a little more yellow than I expected but still looks good in my kitchen as mug holders. I like it enough to buy a second one to fill the space. The adjustability is great, I just wish there was some way to lock it into place once the width is chosen, I don't want it to get knocked and slide completely apart. I've included an image of the two shelves installed in my coffee bar.

**UPDATED** The day after writing my review the shelves slipped apart on their own and the two pieces separated causing what I had on the shelves to fall including an unlit candle which almost hit my dog on her head. You will not be able to use these shelves without fastening the two pieces together. For me its not worth the money or time to return so they are sitting in a corner in two pieces until I find a place that is not used often to put them. My original post was:: I bought this as a kitchen counter organizer (not a desktop one as it stats in the description), so I could not really use it for what I had intended (spices, cookbook, etc). It is larger then what I envisioned so it wouldn't help me make more space on my counters. Right now it's on a kitchen counter we don't use much. The directions were clear and simple. It comes with a screwdriver (reversible phillips and flat), the screws needed plus 1 extra. There are 7 pieces divided into two groups for an easier assembly. When the two groups are assembled you place one on the other, they do NOT screw together. The quality seems to be good. It feels sturdy enough. I don't know why they say adjustable in the title. I don't see an easy way to make these adjustable. It gets 5 stars because the ease of putting it together and the quality of the product.

I was happy to find these little shelves and was even more pleased that the two pieces may be arranged differently. I have about a dozen books I want by my desk. However, they were taking up my desk, which felt too cluttered. I got these little shelves, and they provided the extra space I desperately needed. They are versatile: big enough to hold my dozen books and even some of my trinkets. I like them. They also don't take over all my desk so it looks more organized. There were no missing parts. The box they came in had all the necessary parts to assemble them and included a small screwdriver. I did have to take it apart a couple of times because the holes have indentations where the screw head will go, so watch out for those. Otherwise, the screws will stick out. They seem to be well-built, but time will tell. The color blends well with the rest of my desk. I wanted white, but I'm glad I went with the brown colored instead. I recommend them.

Nice looks and assemble into two pieces that can be arranged into different variations. The weight is not too heavy but also not the lightest, similar to lifting 2 hardcover text book. Very easy to assembles, takes less than 20 minutes with set hole location for each pieces and aligns perfectly with each other with a small issue of the holes are deep enough to sink the nails into them and nothing to cover it.

I am not a "handyman"--if I was, I would probably have built something like this from scratch. As it is, I can't nail two pieces of wood together, so this was just what I needed. I've put a few bookshelves together in my time, so I wasn't completely green when it comes to working with a kit. This kit comes with all the screws you need (plus one, of course), and a screwdriver. The screwdriver is not exactly a Craftsman, but it does the job. It's dual-sided--Phillips and flat head--though you'll only need the Phillips head. I followed the directions and managed to put together both parts to the shelving in under thirty minutes while sat on my couch. Two suggestions for the manufacturer: 1. Use photographs as opposed to drawings on the directions. I was able to follow them, but photos would be clearer. 2. Provide some means to clamp or secure the two parts together. I get the idea of having two separate parts. It means you can configure the desk shelving according to your needs. However, I can see them sliding apart (e.g., if there are strong vibrations in the room, or perhaps a book falling over) unless you have something heavy weighing each piece down. If this is a problem, and you're secure in your handyman skills, you could screw or nail the parts together once you have them configured to your liking. But then you're stuck with it like that. To sum up, this is well-made, easy to assemble, and perfect for the non-handyman.
