Flawless with Synology DS1621+
Fantastic memory. Added to a DS1621+ and it just works, no warnings, no errors. Totally seamless. Ran overnight memory test, successful. Highly recommended for Synology DS1621+ in 2025.

It works.
Not listed by Synology as compatible. It works with Synology. However, I don't know the performance compared to Synology. You want performance. Buy Synology. Worked well enough while very low priced for the average Joe/Jane, including you. Cheers.

Works in DS723+
I used them for the Synology Nas DS723+ and when placed correctly, they will be recognized immediately. The Nas doesn't take longer to startup (just like regular) and the Memory test passed successfully. Just be sure not to use the 10G port for the test, but one of the build in 1G ports. (Otherwise it doesn't work)

Works Without Issue in Synology DS923+
I could not justify paying Synology's price for RAM SIMMs. RAM has been generic for decades -- and I'm someone who opened the original MacPlus and installed RAM SIMMs. For anyone curious, the Synology labelled RAM isn't even consistently from the same vendor so how exactly are they 'confirming' the quality?Anyway, I've never had a problem with any RAM sold under the OWC label. Other World Computing has been my go-to source for RAM for my Mac devices going all the way back to the MacPlus in 1988 so I figured if they were able to consistently get products to work with Apple's tech, then Synology should be a breeze. And so far, six months on, my DS923+ hasn't made a single chirp about the RAM not being Synology branded and works perfectly well. Considering I got 32gb for less than the price of a single 4gb Simm with a Synology sticker? I figure it was money well spent.

Great memory for a great price
Fit perfectly in my Synology DS923+ NAS, with all 32g recognized and working like the NAS came with it from the factory with a great price to boot. I've used OWC for other applications in the past, and has always been a quality product; this purchase was no exception.

Drastically improves the stability and performance of my Synology DS923+
I was having problems where docker containers would stop working, or I'd try to load up DSM, and it'd take an extremely long time to load. I wasn't sure what the problem was, but I suspected it was running low on ram, and having added 16 gigs, bringing the total ram to 20 gigs, I can say that it was the problem.Right now I have 10 docker containers, Plex, and Cloud Sync, and I use around 7-8 gigs of ram, so I could've made do with an 8 gig module. 16 gigs was overkill, but it also gives me room to expand, so it's not a big deal.As everyone else has said, the ram just worked. There was no warning for it not being Synology Ram. I'm on DSM 7.2.2-72806 Update 2. I also had to contact Synology support for an unrelated issue, and they didn't say anything, but your mileage may vary.
