Super lightweight fixture that is plenty bright for indoor videography using my standard bowens mount softbox and grid. The tradeoff in the weight and size is that the articulating mount is not quite as solid as yoke mounts on pro level lights. But it gets the job done. The body is also plastic, but seems sturdy. The connectors and switches on the back feel nice and solid as well. I also really like the iOS app which allows me to easily adjust the color temperature and brightness of multiple fixtures from my iPhone. The included diffusion cover for the reflector is also handy and the protective case is nice. The fan is also not audible at all in my video recordings. I have 2 and plan on getting an RGB version as well. Another great product from Neewer!

great price. beast of a light. this is my 2nd set of Neewer lights and they are the best lights i've found that run ULTRA QUIET. i had a set of Neewer 60w lights for a few years and it was time for an upgrade. runs off a v-mount battery making them super portable. solid app. although i do wish they could be controlled via a remote too like my older Neewer lights did (sometimes im using my phone for something else like monitoring a camera)... i wanted to try something different so i bought a Ulanzi and a Smallrig light but ultimately returned them and came back to Neewer.

Have two of these so far. Also bought the 18" softboxes. Very sturdy construction on the lights. Controls are nice. Haven't used the app yet but when you set the lights to the same channel they connect wirelessly. Any changes made to the brightness or temperature of either light automatically gets made to the other. Came with carrying cases too which is good for transporting them. Will buy more in the future.

Amazing light for the price. Paired with a honeycomb soft box, this is a great main light for both photography and videography. App control is seamless and incredibly easy to use. Have not tried wireless battery use yet, however when plugged in for 2 hours, fan noise is minimal to non existent, and the light gets a bit warm but not hot at all. Will actually be purchasing a second soon to use for outdoor night shoots and fill lighting.

The fixture itself is fairly small and easily managed. It’s a great light especially for the price. It has allot of functionality and is easy to use and set up. Everything is standard from the bowens mount to the mount for the tripod.

Glad I bought this. It has steady, color accurate light and the lux for the price is excellent. The controls are intuitive and everything on the light feels solid, even if the housing is plastic. The carrying case is even well thought out and has a pleasantly dense foam for protection.I'm also amazed that you can run this with a battery setup. Recommended.
