Good pump that I hope never to use in anger
Bought it, attached the hose and put it in the bilge. Hope to never use it

Bad foot valve
Footvalve pops off making the pump useless

Very tall, perfect size to get down to the bottom of the bilge
I use this on a Marine Concepts Sea Pearl 21 with water ballast. I had the standard size manual bilge pump and found that when trying to get water out single handed, it was awkward and because the pump was so short, the output hose was uphill and kept flopping back in the boat. This pump works perfect and pumps a lot more water on each throw too. Really glad I purchased and wish I hadn't waited so long. This is the ideal size as a backup for small 18-30 foot PHRF boats too, like Catalina, McGregor and similar

Better toopt for 12 volt
Seems like decent quality but takes a lot of effort to pump very much.
