I’m an occupational therapy assistant doing home care. I need something to take with me to address fine motor skills in the senior population. Being a senior myself, I know I how easy it is to lose function in such small increments that you barely notice it. These “kids toys” are used for children to develop finger, strength and dexterity. When you’re a senior coming out of a hospital for any number of different diagnoses, you might have to start from scratch. These are ideal. And when their purpose is explained to the patients, they quickly get over the initial impression of “working with baby toys”.

Pieces are durable. Interlock nice with each other and can be cleaned/washed if necessary. The “pegboard” are foam pieces. They’re nice but if you put too much on one side then the weight of the pegs make it fall over. If the board were made out of a heavier material it would help. Other than that it’s a good toy for a toddler. One issue I have with it is that there are 50 holes in the pegboards and only 48 peg pieces. Maybe it’s just me but it bugs me. My son isn’t a fan of that either. He thinks he’s missing pieces.

Our son loves this peg board game set. He likes to stack them higher than his actual height and he does use a toy hammer from one of his other toys. Maybe that's an idea of an item to be added to this set, or maybe our son loves his hammers too much lol

My grandson loves them- keeps him busy- a year and half little boy!

My 2 and 4 year old love playing with this peg board. It's good quality and the peg pieces are quite large so are not choking hazards which is something I was searching for specifically in a peg board/threading toy. Excellent product, very pleased.
