First one arrived with broken shaft, replacement all ok and once installed works well.

Pump now back to full working order. Price a little too high though

This is my second Blagdon pump in under 18 months twice after cleaning the pump failed to pump water. I took a hunch at buying a replacement impellor and when compared to the old I could see that the clutch mechanism on the old one wasn't engaging. One thing I've learned with this model is not to withdraw the impellor unless it's jamming and absolutely necessary, just leave in situ and rinse around it. I've had two impellors fail after being withdrawn for cleaning.

Does exactly what’s it’s supposed too pump working well.

The plastic shaft does not appear to last for more than a few months.I now have several impellers that would be perfectly usable if I could purchase the plastic shaft on its own!

Fixed the pump at a fraction of the cost of a new one. Pump as powerful as ever and very happy newts, frogs and fish. Easy to fit

Used this product, work for 5 weeks fine no problem . Then broke down 2 weeks after return window closes. £20 for less than 6 weeks. Absolute waste of money
