It's really difficult these days to find a good pair of oven gloves - the shops seem full of those strips of fabric with padded pouches on the end, and I find them really awkward to use. And that's what these are - a really good pair of oven gloves at a reasonable price. Not too big or inflexible, nice and light, and do exactly what they should - I can walk the length of my kitchen holding a tray straight from the oven, and feel no trace of the heat. One of those perfect buys, and highly recommended.

I ordered these to replace a pair that were so ancient they were falling to bits. At first I was dubious as to whether these new ones would work as they seem much more streamlined. The old ones were a lot more bulky. In fact, they are excellent. I now realise that the technology has moved on and these mitts incorporate the new ideas. Much safer to use as the grip is better and have had no problems at all with heat transference.

Never thought i would wax lyrical over a pair of kitchen oven gloves! Looked in vain in stores for gloves that were not dreary, and/or bulky and unwieldy to replace my dreary etc worn out ones. These are not only flexible enough to grip properly, but also attractive. The clever cross hatching with silicone makes them less rigid than those that have solid silicone slabs, while still giving them grip, and also the shiny strips give the gloves pizazz. The pop of bright red is just what I was looking for in my kitchen scheme of grey white and black with red accents via accessories and pictures. I have ordered a second pair for when these are in the wash. Haven't rated them for easy to clean yet, as I will only wash them when the second pair arrives. Even they way they are packed is stylish and smart.

I love these gloves. In the past I have always gone for fabric oven gloves because the silicone ones were always too stiff and clumsy. I was finding it difficult to buy fabric gloves because many of them were far too wide for me, in spite of the fact that I have quite large hands for a woman.I decided to give these a try because my old gloves had become so thin I was in danger of burning my hands - what a good decision. These gloves are perfect. They fit well, neither ridiculously wide nor too narrow. They are mostly made of well insulated fabric, but the crisscross of silicone on the surface gives them a brilliant grip. The fact that you get a pair rather than a single glove is an added bonus. I have been using them for weeks now and have nothing but praise for them.The processing of my order was smooth and efficient and delivery of the gloves was speedy. I will most definitely buy from this company again.

Nice pair of mitts. Well made and a good size and looks really good in red.Have had no problem when taking hot item from the oven. Tested heat resistance by holding hot tray of food and felt the heat after 20 seconds so plenty of time to get items from the oven to worktop etc.

ProsWithstands the heat of things that have been in my oven for a while. This is important because my hands are not naturally capable of dealing with these temperatures without some degree of pain and/or burning flesh.They are nice and grippy, which is good because I needed something to grip the aforementioned things. They are not too ungrippy nor are they overgrippy. Just right.Can be worn on either hand. Having a pair is particularly useful because both of my hands are left handed.ConsNot resistant to the following:- magma from beneath the surface of the earth- actual fire- some of the stronger acids- any part of our solar system's sunAlso I would've preferred them in blue, but you can't have everything.

They seems quite good, however I need more time to gone a proper opinion.
