Perfect for my son's 4h project!

We gifted this to a kid who likes to take things apart, tinker and fix things. At first he was a bit confused, but someone showed him how the pieces fit together, and he lit up! It turned out to be the perfect gift for him. I remember when I was 9, 10, 11, 12, my friends and I used to take apart our old toys and harvest the motors, buzzers, switches, etc, to play with and learn from. We even made school projects from our junk electronics collections. This kit contains all that stuff, at a good value for the price. I was afraid it might be too simple. Instead, it's not overwhelming or intimidating. I like that everything happening electrically is on display. For example, it is very clear that all the switch does is connect the metal to one conductor line or another. The paths of electricity are configurable. There is no magic here. Just science.

What a great opportunity for learning.

Cheap junk put together with zero thought to end user, clearly just rushed together from generic parts. The motor and buzzer don't have the right terminals to connect to the jumper wires, so you have to hold the contacts on with your fingers. This could work for an adult but doesn't really work for a little kid.

Really small set, like a tiny dollhouse circuit set. Not good for classroom use
