I use this for doing my nails lol because the light is excellent and it has a fume extractor. I can clamp it anywhere - table or my bed frame so I can do nails in comfort. Now the room doesn’t smell like nail polish. And because it extracts fumes vs blowing air like a fan, absolutely no air bubbles appear on my manicure!

I'm blown away with how well built this is and how well it works. I am so used to getting absolute junk off of Amazon lately with all these no-name brands. I had heard of SainSmart before because I used some of their pre-made 8 channel relay boards for a Christmas light project and they worked well. I was not expecting to get something that is all-metal, sturdy, bright, and does an excellent job of sucking up smoke. Even the magnet on this thing is crazy strong, I accidentally stuck it to something metal on my desk and had to use 2 hands to slowly pull it off. All in all this is one of those products that really is worth every penny. Note that even though it has excellent airflow, there are physical limitations on how far the suction can "reach". You will need to move the fan as close to the soldering as you can for it to work best.

Bright light and quiet fan. Easy to use and high quality. It’s a good value for the price and I love how it can be moved from spot to spot. It works well to remove the fumes from the glue I use to craft with.

ASSEMBLY!!! IT SHOULD NOT HAVE TAKEN HOURS JUST TO SCREW ON THE BOTTOM MOUNT!!!! IT HAS TO BE PERFECT!! TO TWIST ON PROPERLY OTHER WISE IT WOULD WORK.....other wise really good product with good mobility 👌

It has to sit close to my board to work properly but it’s been great for when I burn super dark. Would recommend to any pyrography artist to draw smoke away.

Clamp and extractor arm work well to hold the fan up, but the fan is way too weak. Smoke still escapes and you practically have to have the fan right over your soldering area to have solder go through the filter.
