Best coffee around
I can't believe I found Thelmitas coffee on Amazon, a true gem in the world of specialty coffee. Sourced from Marcala, a renowned coffee-producing region in Honduras, a place that has earned its reputation for producing exceptional beans. Award-winning Marcala coffee is a single-origin treasure that has captured the hearts of coffee enthusiasts and judges alike. Grown at high altitudes in the lush, mountainous terrain of Marcala, these beans benefit from the ideal combination of rich volcanic soil, temperate climate, and careful cultivation. In the cup, this coffee offers a captivating aroma of toasted nuts and hints of dark chocolate. The flavor profile is a revelation, with a harmonious balance of bright acidity and a rich, full body. You'll savor notes of ripe red fruit, caramel, and a subtle undertone of spices. The finish is clean, leaving a pleasant, lingering aftertaste that keeps you coming back for more. What truly sets Thelmitas coffee apart is its exceptional quality control and the dedication of local farmers who take pride in their craft. These beans are meticulously hand-picked, processed with precision, and roasted to perfection. It's no wonder the coffee from this region has claimed prestigious awards, as it embodies the essence coffee excellence. I'll take as much as I can get since this gourmet brand not easy to find.

Quality coffee WORTH THE MONEY.
Very impressed with the company. Beans were not oily. Very fresh and ground nicely with my grinder. Used them to make an espresso latte. Outstanding flavor. Even though I sweetened the latte with vanilla syrup, the flavor was a rich dark chocolate flavor. I am extremely satisfied and would be happy to purchase again. Well worth the money. A MUST BUY!!!

From the very first protected designation of origin (PDO) coffee!
Got a bag of this coffee as a gift and was so happy to find it on Amazon, couldn't wait to open it! This is single-origin, artisanal boutique coffee produced in Marcala, Honduras. Rich flavor and aroma, and very importantly for me, relatively low acidity. The price is really a steal and delivery was faster than prime purchases I made at the same time. HINT: The UN FAO granted Marcala the worldās very first Protected Designation of Origin for coffee almost 10 years ago. I cannot emphasize enough how many steps above a bag of Starbucks coffee this is.

Very Smooth
For those that are unfamiliar with Honduran coffee, this is an exceptionally smooth, nutty, chocolatey flavor that is very different than most other coffees and distinct for its origin. However, with noting that, it may not be for everyone because of its mild to no acidic qualities. Above all, it is absolutely worth trying especially for any connoisseurs looking for notable differences. This one is absolutely up there for a really nice flavor experience.

A perfect, full-bodied dark roast
I stick to lower acid coffee beans, because they're easier on my stomach, and Thelmita's did not disappoint. I've used this coffee in my homemade cold brew, as well as my French press, and loved it both ways! Typically I'm between medium and dark roasts, because I like the exhale taste of the dark and the inhale of the medium, but this dark roast his both points for me. I've already recommended it to all my friends, especially the ones that make their own cold brew like I do! Cold brew extraction of coffee doesn't usually pull all the same flavors as hot brew and this coffee leaves me with dark, robust cold brew coffee that I can dilute with water or milk (I grind my own beans and use a 1 to 4.5 coffee to water ratio and let it steep/infuse for 16-18 hours). It's now the only brand I order.

Bold, rich coffee. Great blend
Bold, rich coffee. Great blend - I grind my coffee before making espresso, so I like the aroma of this one. I appreciated the fact that they sent a handwritten note with the package and included a gift as well.

Honduran Coffee
I was told about this coffee from a friend of mine who saw it at a conference in New York. I always prefer low coffee and honestly like light roasts over dark. I have to say, when I drank this I loved it. This is the best Honduran coffee I've ever had! It's smooth. It's low acid. It's a single estate, so it all came from the same farm in Honduras. Really love it. the packaging could be better, but the taste and the product - phenomenal. best Honduran coffee!
