Navigating Grief Workbook: Evidence-Based Exercises to Move through Grief and Heal

A Comprehensive interactive journey to healing the body, mind and spirit
First, I extend gratitude to Anna Darbonne, PsyD for providing us an "Advanced Reader Copy" for review as we sojourn together through the grief sharing process. The Grief Workbook is a well thought out compilation of all critical areas the griever will experience and necessary to explore with authenticity to begin the healing process. Anna provides you the means to understand grief (while yours is your own - no 2 people grieve the same) The griever and/or educator will find value in doing the work necessary to process grief and a means to find their way back when giving yourself grace, time, love and support through people who will build you up. Anna emphasizes if professional support is needed - DO REACH OUT.Yes, grief is an unwelcome visitor in our lives but we can be assured it will find its' way to us or our loved ones at some point in our lives.Anna has provided the tools necessary to do the work. The work is personal, intimate and revealing. I encourage each reader to be authentic as you explore each of the pages.I liked how Anna breaks down in simplicity the weight of YOUR OWN STORY, holding the weight of grief and provides the many descriptives sometimes we often cannot put into our own words. The anatomy diagrams are most helpful as we often discount the physical body because the emotion is internalized yet the power of the body mind connection is powerful.

"Navigating" Grief
Lots of gentle reminders that our griefs are real, that we all grieve how we grieve, and allowing ourselves space to grieve. Yet there are good seeds we can plant into our lives, even as we are shattered, that will help us be able to stand up when we can and eventually walk. Grief does not necessarily go away, but it is something that we can learn to navigate. There is hope.
