I purchased this for a friends child and she loves it. Only problem is it is Americanised, so a few words are not appropriate for us brits but she will just take those cards away. Not sure if this is available already but it would be good to have different languages available and UK English and American English.

The kid loves playing with this and that's all that matters.

I bought these and keep them at my place and they're there for my grandchildren to play whenever they come visiting.They love it and don't fight over it as there's 4 of these.

It is likely to keep children’s attention and concentration for longer because of the range of activities. Certainly the case with the children who have visited us recently.This ‘tablet’ part might initially be just a drawing / pattern making part. Then maybe used to encourage correct letter formation and copying words that are on the cards. This can be locked so any pictures or writing are not easily lost. Equally it can be easily made to vanish with a single setting and press of a button. The stylus, helpfully, magnetically attaches to the top of this toy when being stored.Being rechargeable, this saves on ongoing costs of batteries. There are lots of cards covering various topics / categories with clear pictures. (Could help with young children learning English words. It looks a bit young for an older child).One thing a teaching friend said was that the alphabet is presented here as letter names. She said youngsters are taught letter sounds first. She suggested these cards might be tucked away until after the children have learned the ‘sounds’. There are plenty to be going on with. There is a small but adequate instruction leaflet - useful to keep. This is a nice way to develop youngsters language, naming, drawing, writing –fun learning through play.
