Shockingly good for the price
This watch is shockingly good for the price. I don't know what the Swiss are going to do in 5 years. It has a classic, vintage style that is reminiscent of 1960s watches, with a "top hat" domed crystal. The best feature, however, is the Seiko/TMI VH60B "mecha-quartz" movement, which ticks about 3 times a second, so it genuinely looks like an old-school low-beat mechanical watch--just like my Vulcain Cricket. The case, hand and dial finishing are very good. The bracelet is also very nice with solid end links. It does have some sharp edges in spots, so if that bothers you, you might just want to lightly file or sand around the clasp area. But I plan to wear it on a leather NATO strap.Lastly, I purchased the sand colored dial. It has nice depth that looks great outdoors in the sunlight. You can see the shadows on the dunes by holding it at different angles.

Love the watch but was shipped an opened box, twice
(Update: The seller contacted me immediately after I submitted this review to make sure I was happy with how it turned out. Very nice.)Normally I prefer 40mm divers, but I do love this watch. I used to wonder why I didn't really like Explorer style bezels at 40mm and finally realized that it's because they seem out of proportion to my eye. I think 36mm for a bezel of this style is just right on my 7" wrist.I bought the white one a few months ago and it was perfect. Then I bought the blue version a few days ago. It was shipped in a box that had been opened and the watch had already been sized for very small wrist. The removed links were in a sandwich baggie and there were fingerprints all over the watch and bracelet. So I shipped it back and got another one. On this one, the plastic wrap on the clasp had clearly been removed and the reapplied. And the baggie that should've had two tools was empty, and one tool was moving around freely in the box. The other was missing. That's no problem since I have watch building tools, but the point is that this was a second open box. I kept this one and I'm happy with it.I think the blue version is even better than the white one. The bracelet has a nice satin brushed finish. And the smooth movement of the Seiko VH31's second had gives it that automatic look. Lug to lug is 46mm.

Good for price. Accurate time
Good for the price. A little heavy but that’s to be expected

Worth the price
Simple and beautiful. Pop it onto a brown leather or NATO strap and it's a perfect little "go anywhere" time piece. Keeps excellent time.

beautiful face
36mm is really small if you're used to wearing 40mm or larger. This watch has old-time class. Beautiful face.

4.5 - 5 Stars. Outstanding for the Price Tag -- with Caveats
Beautiful time piece on its own merits. Almost unbelievably nice for the cost. However, without realistic expectations you may be disappointed. The watch wears even smaller than its tiny (by modern standards) case size. It also won't compare favorably to entry level luxury watches, as many people are claiming online. Similarly, I'd doubt claims regarding durability, divability, etc. However, none of those factors should prevent anyone from buying the watch if they like it. It mates well with other jewelry because of its small size, it presents waaaaay above its weight class, and 99% of watch wearers don't need the extreme capabilities they're paying for.

Great for the price but marks on the bracelet
Great watch for the price but on the bracelet there was a mark or two I could not get out of it at all, would be 5 stars if there were no marks but I love the watch and it's worth the price

Too small for larger arms
This watch looks good, but it's too small for anyone with larger arms; it clearly resembles a women’s watch.
