A charming owl wind chime that is perfect for my front door. Quite durable but wouldn't want to put it in a very windy location.

I bought this for my sister as a birthday present this year. She has an extensive collection of high end wind chimes in her beautiful garden surrounding her home. I had the chimes sent to me first so I could inspect it first because I was concerned that it may not be well made or cheap looking. When I received the chimes I was relieved to see that it was well made and not cheap looking at all. The feathers hanging from the bottom are glass and have an almost "beach glass' quality that I love and the construction of the owl itself is quite detailed. I gift wrapped it and shipped it to her for her birthday and am happy to report that she was extremely pleased with her gift. She sent me a picture of it hanging in her garden and says that the tone of the chimes are very pleasing to the ear and it is well balanced and slowly rotates around even if there isn't a breeze.

It's cute and just the right size. And I like the tinkling sound the glass pieces make in the breeze.
