The desk light was easy to set up, connect, and turn on. The item is black and seems to be made well. I needed a little more back light in my dim office for video calls. This light takes up very little space, offers enough light without being overly bright, and works well in my office environment. It offers a USB connection with an adapter for plugging in directly. The remote falls a little low so I connected it to the base of the post for easy access.

Humm, simple design, and test before putting together. The white light along with the yellow light for reading are nice, covers a large area with light. Basically bends to any position, light adjusts smoothly while holding button, and fairly cheap. When I received, I was impressed by the packaging in its box. 1 big problem, the mounting pole barely threads to light pole. There is paint on threads so I removed with emery board thinking it's a simple fix. No luck still doesn't fit well, just enough threads grab to hold together. Worried it wont hold after a few adjustments during use, so there is a warranty, andlets see how much they stand by product. I email the company, and wow a response in just over a hour. They ask for picture to explain my description. No biggie, the next email has info on new one being sent out with a apology. Plus no need to send back original. New one will be ready to ship in 24hrs and be here in 2 days afterwards per info sent in email. The impressive customer assistance caught me off guard. I wish all companies stand by their product with such ease. A good desk light that works as described, great support, and not to expensive.

Purchased April 2025 for $21.PROs:definitely amongst lower cost options,flexibility in positioning of light,small footprint,3 temperature settings,ranging brightness optionsCONs:whereas other products I have purchased allow bending at joints, this product uses a flexible rod that's almost impossible to get perfect straight,the clamp doesn't fit well between desk and 4" monitor riser. based on dimensions on amazon, I thought there was plenty of room, however, the length of the threaded rod adds an additional 1.5" or so. it didn't need to be that long. I was able to finally force fit the clamp in the space in between, but moving it will damage the desk some. the other option would have been clamping to the desk rather than the monitor riser. however, this would place the bottom of the light right at the top of the monitor blocking the webcam and reducing the amount of light on the desk itself.the controls are done by a single button based on single (temperature, power) and long presses (brightness). But this is on the cord itself. You'll likely want this button on your desk and not dangling behind it, so your actual desk-to-outlet cord length is only about 48" (visually estimating) ... which leaves only about 18" of horizontal distance for the cord to reach. I had to get an extension cord. The button does not have adhesive pad, I'd recommend getting one for the cord to be placed at the back of the desk so the button doesn't keep falling behind the desk.The product does seem to be solid/durable.Compared to the ones I've purchased before this would be a 3-star product if compared without price.But at $21, this definitely adds a star for value as the 5-star products I own elsewhere are around $60-$70.If you want a 5-star product, you'll need to pay for it.If you're looking for a cheaper solution, I recommend this lamp!

WOW! What a great light. This light delivers as advertised. Easy to put together and attach to your desk. Sturdy and provides as much light as you could want to make all of your work/reading a pleasure. The control provides each access to on/off and changing the colors and bright/dim of the light based on your needs. In addition, its great looking lamp. 5 Stars all the way, I highly recommend this light to everyone!
