Pilot Multi-Pen Body, Hi-Tec-C Coleto, For 4 Colors, Navy Body (LHKCG20C-NV)

My old Pilot 0.4mm blue-black gel pen was on its last drops of ink, and I learned that Pilot no longer made the style I enjoy..Rats…after some searching, I learned that the 0.4mm blue-black refills were available for their Coleto multi-pens. I didn’t exactly need/want a multi-pen but after a bit of consideration I thought I’d give it a try. This pen body has 4 slots for ink refills or for their clever mechanical pencils and even erasers! So I bought this body, a packet of blue-black ink refills, a 0.5mm mechanical pencil, and the eraser refill. I outfitted the body w 2 ink refills, plus the pencil and the eraser. It’s great for my tasks at hand every day. At first it took a little getting used to the wider diameter of the Coleto as opposed to the slim Pilot I was using, but that was quick. The feel now is very natural. It’s easy to swap out any of the 4 slots, so if I wanted to add a red marker ink, I would just pop the top, remove one of the blue-blacks and replace with a red refill. Very useful indeed.

I thought I ordered a pen but didn't. It's just the shell and all the pens I've tried to put in it won't fit.

The 500 model is way better. This one feels a bit loose at the tip when you write. With the 500 and 1000 there’s no tip wiggle and the 500 has a grip. The 1000 has no grip though so I’ll stick with the 500.

Can’t complain. For the price you’re paying it’s worth it. Only set back is it’s just the body. Components you buy separately. But it all components are compatible with this one.
