Love this thermometer. It is accurate, fast, easy to use and the silent mode is perfect. I really appreciate that once you turn it to silent mode, it stays there until you manually change it back. Which is easy to do, just click the button one more time. Now I can sneak in and take my kiddo's temp in the middle of the night without the worry of waking my sick kid.

I bought another brand before,we used for a while,but after a short time,it often freezes and responds slowly. Dates can be big different in few minutes,it seems not correct any more. So we bought this,it's a good brank ,it works well and very smart.

Great quality, particularly for the price

It's easy to use (for most people) and the color code helps. Measuring forehead temperature can be affected by the environment. It'll be inaccurate if the distance is wrong or the forehead/body was just exposed to outdoor cold/warm temperature. Make sure to stay in a temperature stable/comfortable indoor environment at least for a while before the measurement.It may not be convenient for seniors to check temperature for themselves. The no touch part is actually challenging as they may have trouble positioning/holding it steady in front of the forehead for just a few seconds. An in-ear thermometer would be easier to guide (rest in the ear) for them and reading will almost always be accurate (unlikely affected by environment).Have to say it's more fun to use it (for me) than an in-ear thermometer and it adds versatility with the capability of measuring water/liquid temperature.

I had another an older Braun thermometer like this that I got for my son 9 years ago. It worked great! Unfortunately it broke a few weeks ago so I thought thus new one would be just as good, if not better. Nope! What a piece of junk! Errors out of the box. Once errors were resolved the entire house at high fevers. But, no, we didn't. It was never accurate and for that we could not justify keeping this. I would not recommend!

Seems to work, though one takes its calibration on faith

A great tool for my nursing go bag! I love how easy and safe it is to use for not only my family but for patients as well. Not having to touch skin makes it a bit inaccurate however I love that I can keep the device clean and can use on most people.

Very inconsistent with the readings. Very compact and easy to read.
