Great way to start seeds! I love this seed starter, it function well and the build quality is great. The heating mat doesn't work as well as my Vivosun heating without the thermostat but it is what it is. The design is good except for no real way to secure the lights from moving around other than that I love this thing. Definitely a good buy, could be a bit cheaper.

Impressive starter kit. Fit and finish are very good. The price is competitive with other brands, however the durability is questionable. The plastics are on the thin side. However, sturdy because it is square shape. The longevity depends on how one respects their belongings. All settings and accessories function per the description. The heating mat temperature and the thermostat control are relatively accurate (+/- 1° f). The built in timer is optional to use and changes colors depending on the schedule (Off, 8/16, 12/12, 18/6). The selector switch provides feedback with a solid feel and loud click sound so you definitely know you pressed the selector button. So does the entire household. The light intensity settings and timer settings have memory as long as it is connected to a power source. Unplug the power cord and all settings are lost. An external timer is a no go. A power outage will definitely be inconvenient. The light panels lay nicely snug in their designated position. Nothing to secure them in place. Use slight care when removing the lid. Perhaps secure the light panels with painters tape (less adhesive) for easy removal. Test time… The readings will fluctuate by a couple numbers depending on the ambient lighting. I tested the lights in a well lit living room; artificial lighting/natural ambient lighting from windows. I tested the PPFD (umol/m2/s) and DLI with the Photone Pro app with their optional (recommended) diffuser. The phone with diffuser was then placed on top of the seed tray. Sprout level. PAR setting is on Full Spectrum lighting. READINGS: Light intensity = PPFD / DLI (18 hours of light). Intensity 25% = 46 PPFD / DLI = 2.99 Intensity 50% = 87 PPFD / DLI = 5.74 Intensity 75% = 129 PPFD / DLI = 8.48 Intensity 100% = 168 PPFD / DLI = 11.0 *PAR (Photosynthetic Active Radiation) *PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density) *DLI (Daily Light Integral) In conclusion, Thumbs up!

So the biggest down fall is the lid I don’t know if it’s the how they package it or when it got delivered but the lid does not seal so I bought some clamps to hold it down just had to invest more money maybe that why it was cheap. Pros:Very easy to assemble, easy to use, it’s a good starter size, not to big and it hold the moisture Cons: the lid is made of plastic which was a damaged and didn’t seal

This thing is the bomb. Plant growth and germination have no choice for those warmer weather plants. It seems very sturdy and the lights are pretty bright. The light has a timer which is great and it even comes with a heating pad. It’s super easy to set up and also fun! Me and my kids loved it. We will see how it does as we just put all the soil and seeds in.

First seeding I didn’t use the heat pad because there wasn’t a timer with that and I was a leery about leaving that run nonstop and germination was spotty. My house does run chilly. The Led lights are bright and warm and timer was great. The second seeding I used the heat mat and set it at 80 degrees and all but 2 seeds germinated and the plants grew quick. Third seeding was spotty again and I noticed the heat mat wasn’t very warm anymore even though it was set for 80 still. I turned it up to 90 but it didn’t help. Shame the mat stopped working. I was originally planning on buying 2 more if it worked. Guess I will have to look at other brands to see if there is any better.

Fantastic for starting garden. Ive bought multiple of these and they are great. The base trays i use for bottom watering year round, and the light with seedling starters have been instrumental in getting garden going.

Es un kit demasiado útil,me ayudo a tener a las plantulas en un ambiente óptimo para su fase, ahorrando espacio en la carpa de cultivo y asegurar la germinación, además por el precio es una increíble opción, un tapete termico el cual es muy útil para germinar o enraizar esquejes en invierno y un par de luces muy potentes para el tamaño y el costo (yo las uso al máximo de intensidad incluso los primeros días de germinacion el domo ayuda a que no reciban exceso de luz) las plantulas se desarrollan a muy buen ritmo con estas luces, el tapete termico además cuenta con un termostato que se agradece ya que e visto algunos que solo se conectan y estos calientan tanto como los dejes contestado y a cierta temperatura, este ayuda a tener una temperatura justa y no tener que estar al pendiente de excedente con el calor o que las plantas pasen frío. Honestamente me sorprendió lo útil que me resulto este kit ya que me ahorra mucho espacio y puedo tener a las plantulas creciendo a buen ritmo, por el precio me parece una increíble opción en especial por la autonomía de sus componentes(las luces incluyen timer y su tapete incluye termostato), el platico no es muy grueso pero tampoco es barato ni delicado, la mia llego un poco doblada de una esquina pero nada estético ni que afecte, es muy útil, de bastante buena calidad, te ayuda a controlar de mejor manera la etala de germinacion, platula o enraizamiento, además barato así que no creo que te arrepientas de comprarlo .
