Works like a charm & my pups actually like it!
The media could not be loaded. Added an update at end of review & gave an extra star to be 5-star. I’ll explain why in update! This is a very handy dandy gadget that is a great vacuum for keeping up with dogs that shed a lot. I was looking for an alternative to traditional dog brushing, as it always leaves me and my floor covered in dog hair. This vacuum does the trick! Here are my pros/cons —PROS: captures hair without it flying all around, low-level noise that doesn’t bother my pups, effective suction of hair from brush to tube, easy disposal canister, multiple power levels for suction (though I’ve only used the default one).CONS: A longer power cord would be nice. a longer tube would be helpful so I could maneuver around my dog more easily. The brush is fine & does its job, but maybe not as good at getting to undercoat of fur. It’s not super large, but I did have to find a place to conveniently store it.For reference, my dogs are both older and the breeds are golden retriever and Great Pyrenees mix. My Pyr is skittish, but this vacuum surprisingly doesn’t bother her at all. I think she finds it mostly soothing. My takeaway— the pros far outweigh my cons and I’m glad I purchased it. Is it an absolute must-have? No. I mean, every pet owner has a brush. But it keeps me and my floors nearly fur-free when I brush them with this and that’s a huge win for me. I’ve attached video to show its use. (I’m trying to do it left handed while I film but you get the idea.)Edited for update (April ‘25):I finally tried one of the attachments (honestly I’d forgotten it came with them). My pups were needing a trim but it’s been too cold to go outside to use my electric pet clippers. Then I remembered this device came with attachments, one of which is clippers that attach directly to the hose. This really was a game changer. Sucked that hair right into the vacuum, allowing me to do it right there on my kitchen floor with no mess. Noise level the same as the brush so the pups sat just as contently. Again, if your goal is reducing the hair mess, this thing helps dramatically.

This is a MUST have for heavy shedding dogs and puppy haircuts
Why I Purchased This ProductI bought this pet vacuum grooming kit because I have a long-haired German Shepherd who sheds like it’s her job. I needed something to tackle all the shedding and help trim her fur without creating a mess. I was skeptical at first, but this vacuum turned out to be way better than I expected.Key Features & My ExperienceThe vacuum is surprisingly quiet, which is nice, though my dogs were initially terrified of it. I had to ease them into it with treats and start on the lowest setting before working my way up. They eventually adjusted, but it required a little patience (and bribery). The brush works well, but I really wish it came with a de-shedding brush. The included brush is okay for clearing loose hair, but it’s no replacement for a proper de-shedding tool like the Furminator. If you need to fully de-shed a pet with heavy shedding like mine, you’ll want to supplement with a better brush. The clippers worked much better than I expected. The built-in vacuum really shines here—it sucks up all the loose hair as you trim, making it much easier to cut evenly. Plus, no mess means I was able to do all the grooming indoors without worrying about hair getting everywhere.Pros and ConsPros:Quiet vacuum compared to most, making it less stressful for pets.Efficiently sucks up loose hair and clippings, making grooming much cleaner and easier.Clippers perform exceptionally well, even on thick, long fur.Great for indoor use with no mess.Cons:Does not include a de-shedding brush, which would make it much more effective for heavy shedders.Requires a bit of patience to get pets accustomed to the vacuum (highly treat-dependent).Who This Product Is Best ForThis product is ideal for pet owners with moderate to heavy-shedding dogs who want clean and hassle-free grooming. It’s also great if you want to groom your pets indoors without worrying about a giant mess. However, if your dog requires significant de-shedding, you may need to use a separate de-shedding brush along with this vacuum.Final Thoughts and RatingOverall, this pet vacuum exceeded my expectations. While I wish it included a de-shedding brush for tackling heavy coats more effectively, it’s still a lifesaver for messy grooming sessions. The clippers and vacuum work phenomenally together, and the convenience of a nearly mess-free experience makes it absolutely worth it. My dogs have adjusted to it, and I’m thrilled to finally have a reliable tool for managing their fur. I’d definitely recommend it to other pet owners!

Excellent
Excellent Excellent. Sucks up all the hair off of bedding, pillows clothes. Quiet enough motor that it doesn't freak the dog. Collects the hair in a canister into a ball so it's easy to dump. Love it. Worth the money I paid. I recommend totally

Game changer. Great product.
This works well. It allows you to trim your dog without creating a mess. It has been a game changer for my elderly dog that can't tolerate a professional grooming any more. The noise isn't crazy loud and does not scare her. She can lay down and nap while I groom her back and sides. One HUGE PLUS is the ability to trim the hair at the ear canal and it doesn't get down in their ear. So less ear itching & complications. The suction is perfect to grab the hair but not suck up their skin in general. The guards are useful. Is this a trimmer that with top notch blades? No, but it does the job and gets the shape needed. I can go back with my fancy trimmers to tweak if needed but I honestly haven't bothered because this just makes it so easy to trim and top off weekly. I do recommend you use on a reasonably clean dog. I wouldn't use it to trim things matted into their fur. But if you take care of your trimmers, you know better to begin with.
