Good Value!
So these rugs were outstanding for me, I bought two. There’s no lines or weird smell with mine. I followed the package instructions on how to fluff it and so it’s super soft, doesn’t slip at all, and I just use the hose attachment on my vacuum to clean them because as most people should know, you can’t use a normal vacuum on rugs because it will eat them.

Perfect for my family's needs.
I have bought a few rugs on Amazon but this one is by far the best. It's soft and comfortable to lay on. It's not to thick yet just thick enough that it adds extra cushioning to your step. Overall this is a great rug.

Decent. Gets job done.
Size was perfect and what the description said. No funky odors. Had to puff up a bit after opening but that only took maybe 5 minutes. Holds and shows a lot of dirt though and is difficult to vacuum.

I wanted to love this carpet
I ordered another carpet in the gray color for my office and it is the perfect size, color and softness. I decided to take a chance and order it for my living room and the "navy" color does pop against the hardwood floor. But I agree with another reviewer that the color is definitely off - not quite navy-- more of of a dark ultramarine blue.It came shrink wrapped but easily settled into the shape. I appreciate the softness but I've noticed that after just a short few days it is already looking worn especially with children and my dog constantly running over it. Also the shade I chose does NOT hide anything. When I tried to use the vacuum - I had a hard time running it over the thickness of the carpet and it kept getting sucked up.I would only purchase this rug again for a smaller room like my office where there would be less foot traffic. I would not recommend for a larger area.

MAKE SURE YOU PUT IN DRYER!!
Don’t even hurt your own feelings by laying this down before you throw it in the dryer… yes, even the 7 x 10 sizes!! Comes vacuum sealed so its crumbled and smaller than it should be, at first. 20 mins in the dryer and it comes out to be the size you ordered and the MOST comfortable rug ever! Color looks like the picture, absolutely love so much, ordered a runner to match!

Good at first, now not so much
We bought a 6’ x 9’ rug for my daughter’s dorm room at college. Since it was too big, it couldn’t fit into any washer. It fights against a vacuum cleaner, and because of the material of the carpet itself nothing ever gets sucked up; even a carpet and floor sweeper took out pieces of the carpet. One fringe also started peeling off by itself, and the bottom has stains that cannot be taken out. The peeling fringe was already obvious enough even before it had to get cut off.I give this 2/5 stars instead of 1/5 stars because the 3’x5’ carpet is not too big to put into a washing machine and has no fringes peeling off, but it too has lost pieces from the same carpet and floor sweeper. It also fights against a vacuum cleaner, where nothing likes to be sucked up either. Even if the 6’x9’ carpet could be washed like the 3’x5’ one, that wouldn’t make a difference for the stains that have settled in multiple spots on the white backsides of both.

With patience it will get almost flat
Edit: +1 star. I stand by all previous comments, but now with experience I am a little more optimistic. 5 mos in my living room, it has stood up quite well. It vacuums reasonably well, but you have to stand on it to keep it from moving. Lars, the cat, loves messing with it at night, so I have to arrange it every morning to put it back unrumpled. It eventually became fully flat -- it did take a little longer than the mfg claimed. I have not put it though the washer yet, and may not until Lars, Doug, or Karl gaak on it. This will not be an heirloom rug like a wool Persian, but it seems tough enough. Knowing what I have said so far, and if you plan on enough furniture around it to hold it in place I think you have enough info to know if it will work for you or not.Previous Comments: Pictures show how it looks after unboxing, initial layout, after 24 hours and then after a week on the floor. A little shocking looking on day one in the "decompressed" state. Within 24hours it had improved to "hopeful". I remained hopeful. After a week it has upgraded to "almost flat". There are two areas on the right that have been there since it was decompressed. They are now little bumps now that have not gone away. Maybe too stretched out from packaging or manufacture. The rug is soft and light weight to be sure. A little more mobile on the floor than a rug should be because it has very little weight. It is true to size. Stable under people feet, moves when cats or dogs run over it. We will keep it since it is low cost enough to experiment with. YMMV
