CHAMBERLAINB2401 Smart Quiet Belt Drive Garage Door Opener, Gray

I was a little worried about replacing my garage opener myself. Yet because the old model had been professionally installed, part of the work was already done. The new opener takes some time to assemble and install, but overall the directions were clear to both install and adjust. And then there are the results! It works well. It is so much quieter than the chain drive opener. Very good purchase.

This Chamberlain unit replaced an ancient chain drive Linear opener that finally gave up the ghost. It was easy to install and the smoothness and quietness of this unit’s belt drive is a welcome change and having the phone app to control it, in addition to the remote, is a nice addition. Several months later it is still working like new. Recommended.

It works great and we can open and close our door from our phone and it tells us when the garage has opened and closed. We can Amazon deliver packages safely in the garage to stop porch pirates and it tells us when they have come and left. It was easy to install and works great! we have 2 openers if we need them. the price was on point as well and delivered on time.

Works very well, not the easiest installation by one person but it can be done. Cannot use LED bulbs, have to use CFL's. Much quieter than the chain drive it replaced.

Excellent in every way but don’t use LED bulbs in the opener or remote control range will suffer

To replace my over 20 years old garage opener with this, I am very happy with it. The installation to me is pretty straightforward. Just remove the control unit and put the new one up. After connected the current belt and sensor, it was ready to go. In the beginning, it won't run. I called customer service. The gentleman gave me a step-by-step instructions through the phone to set up the control unit. It finally ran smoothly. I like it a lot, especially the app on the phone that can control, monitor and schedule the garage door anywhere.

This garage door works like a champ! Quiet and dependable. But the best benefit is that Amazon now opens my garage, places things in the garage and then closes the garage! Wow! I had never worried about having things stolen if we’re in town, but I have felt compelled to ask neighbors to pick them up if we’re gone. No more! It’s all tucked away safe and sound.

This is the second review I've written on this piece of junk. Evidently, I offended Amazon because they didn't load it.Terrible instructions, with zero reference to where to even connect the sensor wires. Read that I had to load an APP on my phone or the system wouldn't work. I finally found a small QR code on a lable attached to the pull rope. QR code took me to a site, where I had to load another APP on my phone. After, those instructions were pretty good.My seven existing garage doors are LiftMaster / Chamberlain, but my 3-door remote does not work, and now i have a three position opener, where only two work.... and another remote for this junk. Also did not connect to my F150 Lightning's HomeLink. I called and got a mumbling, bumbling guy on the phone and was told I needed to call Home Link. I would send it back today... but I already have it installed. The only thing I can do now is help you with your decision.BTW, the HomeLink guy was Fantastic, and did get it working for me. Buy it or don't, but I wish I'd have read these reviews before I bought. Good luck.
