Cant go wrong with this hemming web. It's lightweight and so easy to use: cut to size, hot iron over a damp cloth and the adhesion bond sets quickly. Invisible finish. Works well for shortening trousers. Still holding after 10 washes.

it works well with my trousers however has gone undone a couple times but it easy to fix and it worth its price so overall quite happy with it .

Amazing stuff 👏🏻 Having never used this before I was blown away by how easy it was to use, and now fully converted to a wonder Web Mum! I hate sewing by hand as I have very painful joints and struggle badly so this has saved me a ton of time and energy for numerous amounts of collapsed pant hems on school trousers. It's as easy as it claims. You cut the length you need, tuck it into the hem so the material covers it and iron the hem slowly to bond the webbing. Blooming marvellous. Don't let the webbing touch the iron though or it will melt onto there and its a pain to get off! Highly recommend for saving time and stress 🌟

Works as it should. Just tuck between the hem and iron together. Haven't put it through a wash yet but the hold seems pretty solid. Sure as long as the wash isn't too hot, it won't un-stick. UPDATE: Put trousers through wash and the tape disintegrated. So either use these for things that don't need washing or consider it a temporary use. Annoying since it specifically says it can be washed.

Great hemming web. I've purchased this roughly every 1.5 years since my son started primary school - he's big for his age so I usually have to buy pants a size up and then shorten the length. Great valule for money and very easy to use - simply wrap around pant leg, cut to size, then iron.

Thus stuff is realy good to use if got some think to take up like a hem on trousers suites or anything els you iron it on it is realy good stuff to have at hand just in case you need to do some think quick plus you carnt tell you taken it up with hemming Web

Ich habe damit unsere Vorhang-Schals gekürzt. Das Material ist ein recht grob gewebter Baumwollstoff (blickdicht, aber kein doppeltgewebter Verdunklungsvorhang). Dafür ist das Saumband bestens geeignet. Es hält bombenfest. Für alle, die ein paar Tips zur Anwendung brauchen: Ich habe erst einmal die Schals gewaschen. Die laufen nämlich nach der ersten Wäsche immer etwas ein. Daher nie kürzen, bevor man sie gewaschen hat. Dazu auch die Temperatur verwenden, mit der man später die Schals waschen wird. Danach auf der Leine trocknen lassen und anschließend auf ganzer Länge ganz glatt bügeln. Dabei werden die Schals meist wieder 1-2cm länger. Also nie ungebügelt die Länge abstecken. Dann aufhängen und unten mit einer Stecknadel die gewünschte Länge abstecken. 1-2 cm über dem Boden sind ganz praktisch, dann verschmutzt der Schal nicht weil er auf dem Boden aufliegt. Danach dann den Schal an der abgesteckten Länge 1x umbügeln. Das wird später die untere Kante des Schals. Den Schal dann zuschneiden. 2x die Breite des Saumbandes +3mm extra sollten als Saummaterial vorgesehen werden. Dann den Saum zweifach nach innen klappen. Die Schnittkante kommt dabei innen im Saum zu liegen und wird dadurch nachher nicht mehr sichtbar sein. So ribbelt sich der Stoff an der Schnittkante auch später nicht auf. So entsteht unten also ein Saum mit 3 Stofflagen. Der entstandene Saum ist nun ungefähr genau so breit wie das Saumband selbst. Den vorbereiteten Saum ohne Saumband noch einmal kurz überbügeln, um den Saum in der richtigen Position zu stabilisieren. Das Saumband dann glatt in die Saumfalte einlegen und mit höchst möglicher Stufe von beiden Seiten bügeln. Das Saumband schmilzt und verklebt zuverlässig die Stoffschichten auf der gesamten Saumbreite. Das Kürzen von Vorhang-Schals ist so wirklich sehr einfach möglich. Selbst Anfänger, die keinerlei Erfahrung im Bereich Schneidern haben, bekommen erstklassige Ergebnisse hin. Ich empfehle Videoanleitungen bei Youtube.

Hello! I wanted to ask for your help with your product. I used Korbond hemming tape for my pants and it was working for a while but after I left them alone for about 1 day the tape seemed to not melt at all even though after ironing it seemed liked material is glued well. So now I have this tape on my pants being glued just a little and I wonder if I should try to iron it once more but this time for longer or just rip the old tape and use a new piece of tape and then iron. I used the highest possible temp on iron so maybe that was my mistake? I really don't know. Please help me out! Thank you for you time :) Have a nice day!

ce Korbond Ruban pour Ourlet de 20 m est le sauveur des bricoleurs couture-phobes comme moi. 20 mètres de bande thermocollante fusible, invisible une fois posée : tu plies l'ourlet, tu glisses le ruban dedans, un coup de fer chaud (avec un tissu de protection pour pas coller partout), et hop, c'est fixé en 10 secondes chrono. J'ai testé sur un pantalon trop long et une veste qui traînait depuis des mois – sans problème, tenue impeccable même après plusieurs lavages à 40°C !

Genial para hacer yo mismo los dobladillos en los pantalones. Si con el tiempo se va soltando, se puede volver a piner, pero aguanta perfectamente en varios pantalones (al menos 4) durante 1 año y con lavados semanales.
