This lamp is very nice, works just fine, and is great for reading. I purchased others where the goose neck was way too long and the lamp was too heavy and way too bright. One of them was so bright, I had to turn it towards the ceiling, then I couldn't see to read. This one lets you adjust the width of the light beam solving the issue. It's a hard task to get the strength of the clamp, length of the goose neck, and weight of the lamp correct. You may have to hold the clamp to adjust the goose neck for moving the lamp more than a few inches. I assure you that the clamp is really strong. The control unit works as described. It is a good lamp, and I cannot understand why some people complained about what I just described.

This is a nice, well made, high quality light. It is made fully of metal from the clip to the adjustable head. The clip is larger and holds tightly. It also has padding so that it doesn’t scratch your furniture when clamped down. This light feels sturdy and will likely last several years if the USB/power components hold up. My only frustration is the control/power components. The light body feels and looks so well made, but the usb power cord and settings controller look and feel a bit inferior. The controller is also in the middle of the power code, so whenever you need to adjust the settings or turn it on/off, you have to fumble to find it. I wish it were up closer to the light. I use this light to illuminate my fragrance collection, and was hoping I could use it with a smart plug to set it up on a schedule. However, once the smart plug cuts the power to turn off the light, the light won’t automatically turn on again when the plug turns on with the schedule. You have to manually turn it on through the power controller. This also resets the light color and intensity. To clarify though, if you have this light plugged directly into an outlet and you turn it on/off manually, it remembers your light color and brightness settings. Despite the inability to set this up on a schedule, overall, this is a great light and I do recommend.

this light is perfect for my bed. It can dim low enough so that my wife is not disturbed in her sleep and provides great light. This was one of my better purchases! It has a control switch next to the light so it is easy to operate.

I love this light. I have it attached to my headboard. I can read at night and not have to shine my phone over my books or light up the whole room just to read by turning on the lamp on my night-stand. It’s adjustable. Love it.

Perfect lamp for attaching to the bedpost. The lamp is adjustable and can be shaped to suit your needs. It is really bright and makes reading while in bed easy. The cord seems to be plenty long to reach a plug. The light color can be adjusted and the lens allows the light to be focused to suit your needs.

Great product, loved the adjustability of the light in both brightness and color. Is super easy to use and ticked every box I needed it to. So why only 3 stars? We had a power outage and when the power came back on the light wouldn't turn off. Pressing the power button makes it go to full intensity and color, press it again and it goes to the dullest white option and the lowest brightness, but does not go off. No idea how long this light would have worked normally, I had very high hopes, but now it's half way to trash. Can obviously still be used by unplugging and plugging back in (so it's completely off when not being used), which is a hassle but doable.

Great for reading. Choose warm color if going to bed, cooler for daytime use and when viewing colorful photo books.
