I bought these as fridge magnets and I love them. They are very strong and look super sleek. Lovem.

I used these to hold the lids on some of the little boxes I make. I drill a hole in both the lid and the body of the box and insert these opposite each other. They hold the lid on very well, as long as you get them oriented correctly.
