The original cable gave out after years of faithful service. The new cable saved me from buying a new tablet !!

So happy I found this!! My partner’s cat was evil and chewed the cord for my intuos pro, I was so scared that I’d never find a cable that would fit it again Then this thing showed up Very nice price and after what I’d say has been about a month of use it’s still working very nicely!

I some how damaged the old cord so that I would be unplugging from my Wacom, shaking the cord and plugging it back in to get my pen to work. I had dropped my Wacom and I figure it must have landed on the plug. I figured I should see if it was just the cord first before looking into a new Wacom Tablet. So far the new cord seems to have fixed the problem.

I got this for my Intuos4 PTK640 which is clearly listed as compatible in the description. After plugging in, the cable heated up to an extrema temperature and fried my device. Even switching back to the original cable the tablet is now a complexly dead brick. (Fortunately the USB port on the PC seems to still be OK.) I can only guess the cable wasn't insulated right? Probably would have started a fire if I hadn't touched it an noticed it overheating so soon. Now 7 days later and still waiting on an Amazon claim to replace the device, meanwhile I have no drawing tablet. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!
