I've used DR Neon strings for a while, these are fantastic

Used these on my purple yamaha bass really sets it apart!!

Partner loved these which I bought him as a gift

After trying these, I now know why you don’t see pro bass players using them. I was lulled in by the pretty colours and decided to give them a try. At first they sounded ok (not great) but still quite dull, kind of like a standard set of nickels that had been gigged once. They feel a little sticky under the fingers also which is quite off putting. After about a weeks worth of home practice (no gigs) they sounded like they had been on the bass for about 6 months and gigged heavily. Needless to say, they were off before my next gig so nobody got to see how pretty they are. Shame!

Sollten aber möglichst mit Fingern gespielt werden, da sonst die Farbe abgehen kann... Sound ist auch gut. Würde ich mit Elixir vergleichen.

Even though their feel is a bit gritty they sound great and the colour is vibrant.

I wanted pink strings to shock and confuse the people at my church. As pink as these look in the pictures, they are an order of magnitude pinker in person.
